Lower Billet Grille for the GT/CS??
So this is the Shelby piece? How much was it? It actually doesn't look bad at all, even in silver...but a powerdercoating in black would be the ticket...although if we ever get the one that looks like the upper grill, we would be stylin'....any news on the fellow that had the accident...the one that was going to make these?
part number is FD-GRILL-270-02 at www.shelbyperformanceparts.com $74.95 + ship and no instructions or hardware.

By the way, the guy also told me that they making the upper replacement grill not the same on Shelby GT. I told him that I don't like the upper grill that they are selling because so have to modify the OEM grill, so they are making a new replacement. It's also coming soon. Actually they are Scott Drake.
I think it's about time we GTCS owners stand up and ask or demand that a manufacturer make what we want, and that is a lower grille that matches that factory upper grille.
I mean how hard can it be to produce???
In search of the the part that fits and looks correct..........

GT/CS Lower grill screen fabication in England?
TDS. Hope this is the right place to respond to your question? I know that I'm a new member here, but have also been reading on this great forum forever, before getting my own GT/CS. Believe that you are correct about a fella in England fabricating his own mesh screen for the GT/CS lower grill area! Go over to page four here, at UK GT/CS - mods galore by Stig. Key on his site at http://www.mustang-gtcs.info. Then to *modifications. front grill. Here you will see his outstanding and quite easy looking fabrication job that he has done here, to create his lower grill screen. Looks great and probably does a good job too! But where to get this type of black metal mesh and what is it made of? Hope that might enlighten anyone that also needs some better protection here! Ideas on what it is made of, from any sharp metal fabricators out there? This idea could be a gold mine for someone! GT/CS Team player "RC"

Thanks... these people are asking for what I plan on giving them, but have they read the past few pages??? I don't think so...
Car should be back next week, will begin work on the lower grill that matches the upper grill
, easy to install with out removing the bumper... etc. etc. etc. S*** I do not want to work that much...
Hi Doug,
I found a link to this thread on another Mustang forum and I'm definitely interested in the grille, black preferably with no fogs.
And I dislike that opening so much that I'm not worried what it will cost as long as it matches the upper grille!
BTW - do you have an online store?
Thanks,
Jason

Wow, word travels fast. should have the car back soon, hopefully this week and will start work on the grill ASAP.
No fog is no problem.
Sorry no on line store, just a guy with a car and a friend with a CNC machine. Right now just taking names here on TMS, at some point I may turn these over to a regular parts supplier, but right now its just me.
