Up date on my machinist friend... he fell off his farm tractor and fractured 4 discs, just got out of the hospital with a pin in his back. When he gets better we will start working on a matching honycomb lower grill for the CS. Something I am going to add is the fog light cut outs to mount the smaller ones. I already have a set of PIAA lights to go there. All I need now is a car...LOL.
any interest let me know. With and with out fog light cutouts. Cant have too many options as that will raise the cost too much.
As of right now we have no idea of cost.. depends on cost of material and amount of time it takes to make it.

Wishing you the very best with your friend's recovery, your car getting back together(still driving a v6 Mustang?), and of course your Mother.
Take care, Joe

I'm no good with photo shop, so with that in mind, just imagine the honeycomb grill filling in the lower hole, and in the case of what I am looking for a pair of 2" fog lights on the edges.
Had to turn in the V6, now driving my 90' F150 oil leaker..LOL
Waiting on the hood, when I get one I will have my car back.
Thanks for the concern for my friend and my mother, she is doing well. took her out to eat the other night, its a pain to push a wheel chair through gravel though. She had a great time.

I still can't believe that with GT/CS's and GT-H's out there with this front, that there isn't a company out that is making the lower insert but in just a cheap black mesh....I have a black car and I want it blacked out down there...don't want it to look like it is "Grinning" like in that GT-H pic.

My machinist friend is up and around, when I get my car back in a few weeks we will start working on the honeycomb insert for the lower grill.
will work on two versions,
1. a plain one.
2. one for some 2.5" PIAA lights on the outside edge.
Still kicking around colors, raw alum., Black powder coated or black anodized. Thought about spray painted them but wanted something a bit more durable.
I am also open to sugestions.

Doug go with the powder coated one. The SAI grill was painted and I have seen some peoiple with paint flaking off posting about it this week. I havent had the issue on my car yet but time will tell. And for the little extra it will look 100 times better than paint and last

talking with machinist, we are going to go to the dealer on friday to measure up a CS.
Powder coating is cheaper but will chip with rocks hitting it, anodizing will not chip but will cost a bit more but will look better in the long run. I think this is the route I would personally like to take.... but will take some feed back.
