Looks good Gabe. Even though the difference may not have been noticeable, plastidip can easily peel if it gets nicked.

Tried out the finalized AED idle lope tune...... no stalling issues, good drivability, and gets a ton of attention pulling into a gas station ha!

Then tried out their finalized performance tune.... thing pulls like a beast. Haven't tried the drag tune yet, maybe later this weekend.

I would love to have stacks of tires in my garage just to see the look on my wife's face! She does not understand such things she thinks one set of tires should be good for like 5 years even if you race.

MMD side scoops. I think they look great.

By the way my paint scratch fiasco goes on. I was all set today to put on my rocker stripes when I noticed the clear that was repaired near the rocker molding is starting to bubble. I called up the body shop to let them know and I was told again that the scratch was there before and that I should worry about more important things like cancer. I know that sounds like I'm making it up but the body shop manager is a real ***. So my car will be dropped off to a body shop that is out of my way but that I know does very good work. My instincts were to take it there first and I should've listened to myself. So much for convenience.

My wife doesn't even notice anymore. Parts come and go and she pays no attention. No complaints on that 😎

Wow. That's customer service right there... You know, there are a ton of things that are "more important", but apparently doing a good job and keeping customers is not one of theirs...

Yeah customer service is not what it used to be. Apparently now the customer is always wrong.

Anyway I sent him an email about how this is one unhappy customer and that the cancer line is cute but he works at a body shop and not a hospital. He quickly apologized for the comment and rather not lose me as a customer. I agreed to give them one more shot. I'm ok with mistakes because crap happens but **** take ownership of it and fix the problem. I figure if they screw it up again I'll be back to taking it somewhere else. He promised that it will be done 100% the correct way. That probably means the whole fender but whatever. If it's painted right it will be as good as new. They did a fantastic job on the hood to repair the infamous bubbling hood issue and they worked on my 2000 and it was perfection. I have no clue why they'd screw me because I pay out of pocket and I never ask for a deal...only good work.

What did I do to my 2014 today? I took her to the dealer AGAIN for the third time and possible third strike to fix a scratch that the dealer created and half assed twice now. I got the promise of 100% fixed right and no shortcuts and they will replace the Expel fender piece too.

Good. Is this the one with the scratch on the lower driver side from before? Glad you're getting it done right.

Yeah same one. The job was never done right and the quickie clear fix they did is starting to pit etc. You pegged me right about not going to be unless it's done the right way.

I feel your pain!

when I had my 2011 Elantra, Had taken it back to the dealership to have them fix a flat tire I had gotten. they didn't put the bump stops in the machine to pull the tire and had scratched the RIM. I was fortunate enough that they ordered me a new rim when I complained. Hopefully they'll take care of you this time around. That sort of competence wouldn't make me go back to that dealership, ever.
