What I don't understand is if this "Stop Ship" is just a smoke sceen for lack of railcars. I would think when railcars came available Ford would ship the older orders first. It seems Ford randomly picks cars to ship. An example is I purchased my car from a dealer in Flemington NJ on 3/17 and my car was built in the 5/4. Another guy who posts here purchased a car in Morristown about 50 miles away from Flemington a few days after mine and built two days after mine. He received his car two days ahead of his ETA. While my car still sits in Flat Rock. This may be Ford playing politics with thier dealers. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy the guy in Morristown received his car, but WTF Ford!! They should have been shipped at the same time.

You folks have the patience of saints. I am sure there is a method to Ford's allocation madness. And why would Ford predetermine the percentage of Mustang models built broken down by trim?

Out of curiosity: Were your respective orders placed with low volume Ford dealers?

At this point I'm still waiting on my car to arrive as it's a part of the stop ship.

We just got off the phone with Union Pacific Customer Service, and as of 8a this morning (5/23) our car is in Lucerne, CO, about 50 miles north of the Commerce City rail head. It is due in Commerce City (Rolla) at 4:40p today. Union Pacific says the car will be ready for local pickup by 11:48a tomorrow (5/24).
We have emailed our dealer this information, and asked if they will have a car transport headed up there tomorrow afternoon. We will report back once we hear from him.

So far, so good. The dealer said it normally takes 10-14 days after build to get to them. Obviously that's if things are proceeding normally. I really hope that timeline is good though because my $750 bonus cash expires on 6/25. I'm going to request another brochure in early March to see if I get a later dated offer but for now... nerves!

Only 281 miles away, the resona I ask is because one showed up on our dealerships lot that was built on 5/17 and showed up 5/20 gave us hope for our 5/18 build but no such luck yet
