Had negotiated a great price with great incentives that forced me Not to buy from my local dealer and now since it's a 2012 nothing holds...He should honor the contract period .

It appears that I've spoken too soon. My salesman sent me an e-mail apologizing, for giving me a VIN# that wasn't mine. The VIN# in question is for a GT500 vert, which is not what I ordered nor is it in my price range. The salesman did guarantee me, that they do have allocation & that my mustang is getting it, but it feels that I'm returning to the purgatory that is "Unscheduled Clean".

Sorry for the late response. I checked on your order and it has been scheduled to build Apr-26-2011 with an ETA of May-06-2011 which is subject to change. It also received a VIN: 1ZVBP8CF1C5218231. Have a great day!

That is only 3.5 weeks away before the estimated delivery of our ride!
I assume the 'ETA of 5/6' means that when it is estimated to arrive at our dealer? Is this correct?

Dealer emailed me "I just wanted to update you on your order status. Your Mustang has been scheduled to start getting built on the 25th, so that is good that they have it scheduled." I called up Ford Customer Service and they gave me the VIN. Hopefully Ill get to see the sticker soon. Can anyone repost the website that I add the VIN at the end of the link to load the window sticker? I cannot wait!

Just curious, has anybody's dealer told them that Ford does an order status update on thursdays? It's been 8 weeks since my order was placed and the only answer I get from the sales manager is that there's still a hold on the 5.0 engines and my order hasn't been pulled yet. Sick of waiting. All of this nice weather in Houston is going to waste. It'll be hotter than you know what pretty soon.

Finally got my VIN a couple days ago. I guess it could be a while till I see a window sticker since my delivery date is "supposedly" June 3. ENCS order so it gets set up a little backwards... we'll see if I actually get it on the right day.

Just curious, has anybody's dealer told them that Ford does an order status update on thursdays? It's been 8 weeks since my order was placed and the only answer I get from the sales manager is that there's still a hold on the 5.0 engines and my order hasn't been pulled yet. Sick of waiting. All of this nice weather in Houston is going to waste. It'll be hotter than you know what pretty soon.

BTW, I switched my color to Kona and added some options. The downside is that these changes were possible because my order has been languishing in Ford's system for the past 3 weeks without being scheduled!
Hoping for it to be scheduled quickly so that I can't make any more changes! lol
