What's important in a fan is cfm and number of speeds. For example, the 64" fanimation covert fan at Lowe's moves 9000 cfm's and has 31 speeds. That allows for micro control over the speed to cool but not blow stuff away.

I have the covert on my patio and I love it. It's damp rated also. I just got a fan for my bedroom and it's 60" and 7000 cfm. The blade design is key.
types... thanks for the heads up. I don’t mind going smaller if it moves good air. You got a link for it?

Doesn't have to be this one in particular. Even though I personally think it's a very nice fan.

But size doesn't always equal air is the key point. When I was looking for the bedroom last week, the 64 was a tad too big. I would have done another Covert otherwise. I was replacing a 56" that moved 4700 cfm's. The 60" I got did 7000. Another 60" did 4300. Less than the old 56".

When the main room fan goes out I'll be doing another Covert for sure. I love it. Auto balances. Ultra quiet. Bright led light. Looks clean. Lifetime warranty. Remote.

Understood. Thanks man. The one you linked looks pretty good. I can live with smaller but more cfm. Looks good too. I need to check what other color or finish options I want. Not sure if I’m feeling the bronze.

So... thanks to Types suggestions in the above posts, I was not only able to purchase, but also installed my new fan.

I went with a Fanimation V2 Slinger. It’s damp rated (shouldn’t need it), 72” diameter, and has a 9000cfm air flow rate. Great suggestion, types! Thanks again.

I love the fan. It’s big. It’s quiet. And the design/color fits my Garaj. It functions via remote after switching the fan on. I don’t think I need another, but I’d consider installing another to the right of it, in the 2 stall.

Here’s some pics and a quick video of how quiet it is . The sound you hear is just white noise paired with rain from outside, lol.

You're welcome bro! Nice choice. The bigger size looks good in the large space. And the LED fits with the rest of your lights of course. Im glad you like it. After becoming a user and seeing first hand the quality, I love Fanimation now. Their remotes are RF also, so you could have 20 of them in there and the remotes wouldn't interfere with each other. But you could combine them to one remote if wanted. They really think ahead with their technology as opposed to older fan makers. RF remote, damp rated, LED, lifetime warranty, good looking, and very well designed.

Have you cranked it all the way up yet? It'll probably dry your car for you lol.

Thanks so much guys! I love it! Yeah, she really “blows”, lol. Types, the LED light, thought bright, is kindda useless because every single bulb in my Garaj is so much whiter and brighter than it!

I do get worried though with how much dust it will pick up and blow on the other cars after I just get done washing her!

Thanks Tony! I think the next on my list is another TV set above the fridge, and then I will eventually switch to strip lights. Also, need a standing air compressor!!!

Good point. You definitely don't need the light. But at least it's LED and not that old school crap lol.

The good news about the dust is that once it's out, it'll keep it out.
