Lol... Tony saw it. I texted him directly, but I have been at my boys' games (2 soccer 1 baseball) today. I still am. Wife is mad I'm on my phone right now lol. Ssssssshhhhh

I still have to download all the pics I just haven't had time yet. I seriously was EXHAUSTED yesterday. Emotionally lol. I did jack squat but I just was riding on full emotion hahahaha. I fell asleep at 7:30 and got up at 7:30. Lol

Will post tonight hopefully .... I absolutely love the new lift.

Ok sorry about the delay folks. Figures that I got slammed with work and family stuff. I only had time to do (a crap job at that) a quick video edit and it wasn't as good as I hoped, but it should all be in the 45 second video I posted below.

Overall, the install was a success. Could I have done it on my own with buddies? Possibly. But these guys knew what they were doing, and they had all the right tools/processes down. For example, the right runway, with the big master cylinder, weighed about 500 lbs. They had a dolly and were able to position it (knew where to put it) for optimum ease of install. The cables and securing all that was also pretty tedious. If I could do it over again, I'd STILL pay them to do the install. I just took photos and answered questions when I could

Install took about 5 hours start to finish, including electrical.

The finished product is just absolute perfection. It was exactly what I was looking for, and then some. The ramp (as pointed out earlier) was a little too steep for my lowered Marilyn, but I remedied that by getting some boards at Home Depot cut to size, 1.5"x12"x48". This helped lower the angle to avoid any scraping. No need to buy Race Ramps (at this time).

I also decided NOT to bolt down the whole Lift. This will allow me to get wheel casters, to allow me to move the Lift fore and aft should I need to. It will also make moving to another house in the future that much easier.

Here's the finished product. I love it. I got the extra long/wide/tall. Perfect for my needs. And the 220V setup is the way to go.

p.s. do you like the background music? I thought it was fitting. LOL.

Thanks a lot guys! Really enjoying her. My Garaj is just so much closer to being complete.... And just because Gabe asked for them, here are some vids.

First one is of me driving up the ramps the first time. As I said earlier, we put boards underneath it and it cleared no problem. The bolt you see sticking out, left over from the side pipes install - so I used the lift to fix that bolt right away. Would have taken me a 1/2 hour on jackstands and getting on my back, now on the lift, it took me maybe a minute tops. LOL.

p.s. I still think my RTR/Kooks headers, sidepipes, and exhaust combo is simply "weak in the knees" stuff, and drool worthy. I just love the way she sounds.


Second one is of the lift going up and down (hey, blame Gabe ). Remember, that's on 220V. Takes about 45-50 secs to go completely up from the bottom.

Great garage and lift. My wife and I have just signed a contract on a 2 acre lot and we selected a builder to build our next home. She got free reign of the house design, and I got the garage space I wanted. Two, 2-car garages. The main one is 25'x24', the semi-detached is 30'x31'. Builder is getting bids from various subs and we are awaiting the bank paperwork.

Thanks bro! Yeah, it's been a long time coming. I've always wanted one. And I knew that when we decided to get/build a new house, I had a chance to make it a reality. So here we are.

CONGRATS! Building is the way to go! If I ever switched jobs/houses/locations, I don't know how I could NOT build again. The only way that would happen is if there was a used or new spec home that already had a lift in it, or had room for me to put a lift in it. The chances of finding that have to be less than 1%. I just HAD to build.

Again, congrats on your garage space. If I were you, I'd make it EVEN bigger. It's cheap to build space - garage space is cheap. Do it now. My only regret is that I should have made mine even bigger. Like a 10 car garage space. Right now, I can fit 6.

Looks awesome. I guess now they have a gray version. Mine is bright bendpak blue. Gray would have been nice.

How much space is there between the posts and the wall? I can really tell in the video but it looks close.

Those had to be some pretty scary moments driving Marilyn on the lift. There were a couple of spots that looked very tight. But then the scariest had to be the actual running the lift and putting her up the first time. I am sure it was very exciting, but I was apprehensive just watching. That maiden voyage would have been nerve racking. I could just picture the possibility of a disaster. Glad it all went perfect. That is just a very cool addition. Something that I would love to have. I am envious. Congrats on the new addition and that is one awesome garage.
