Here's how easy it would be to give the 2010 350HP
It wasn't my dealership, I wouldn't have bought this car for $30,000 let alone $49,000. I bought a GT500 that did not ship to Shelby to be hacked on, and I payed less than they sold this hacked up Shelby GT for.

Good lord, I cannot believe that your dealership charged you an additional 10k ADM, on top of the $7390 for the Shelby GT package.. I really hate to say this, but you got robbed big time by those crooks.
As my dealer charged:
$30,595-MSRP
$ 8,390-Shelby GT. PKG
$ 1,000-Gas Guzzler Tax
$39,985-Total MSRP
All I can say, is if you had shopped around a bit. Perhaps you could've saved yourself $9000.00

I'd take a Ford Factory Built GT-500 Any Day Over a Shelby GT, all of the Shelby GT's I've seen in person Look Like ****! The Rivets around the JC Whitney Hood Scoops are Terrible, and Every Single One I've seen the Stripes are Messed Up around the Scoop.
I went to a Local dealer here in Tampa with some friends, we were just looking around and I looked at a GT-500, they actually had an Extra $7000 on the Extra Options Sticker for the GT-500's Supercharged 5.4 liter Engine, On Top of the Standard GT-500's Sticker Price, plus another $5,000 "Market Adjustment". I was Like, You Gotta Be Kidding Me. You're gonna actually try to Charge Me for the Motor that Comes In the Car from the Factory?
So when I was talking to a Salesman later on the lot, he brought up how he wanted a new Challenger, but he wouldn't pay the Extra $10,000 the dealer down the street was tacking on for "Market Adjustment". So I said Kinda like the Market Adjustment you have on the GT-500's out front? He said yeah, but they were'nt charging as much as the Chrysler dealer was. That's when I said, No You're just Charging $7,000 Extra for the Engine that Came in the car from the factory, which makes your Market Adjustment $12,000. He didn't have anything else to say after that.

How long ago was this? In my area I'm finally starting to see GT500s selling for MSRP. Some may have ADMs but i'm sure if offered MSRP would take it and run with it.
Some Dealers need to face facts. This isn't a new car anymore. The production numbers for the GT500 have far surpassed any of the previous gen SVT Cobras and production will continue well into the next gen car, so they can't try the limited supply or time BS...
It still baffles me that people spent 10-25k above MSRP for this car! It's not a barret-jackson collectible!

Hmm... Maybe they're going to start listing MSRP for all the pieces of the car and use that to determine final price. $40k for a regular GT anyone?
