That's a big ol' chrome dot on the steering wheel, too.

I'm liking the front end treatment. I wish they would have one without the spoiler even camo'd we would be able to tell a bit more on the rear. +1000 on eliminating the antennae. Ford likes to stick antenna's on cars, look at the satellite radio on the stangs . They could have easily hid that thing inside the car but didn't. I'm not too crazy on the clear between the taillights though. Maybe if the clear was skinnier like one or two columns of LEDs it would grow on me.

a crime IMO (the Euro-conversion). You know...since the greenhouse is just a carry-over the side mirrors are probably a direct swap.

I am not really concerned with the look of the car. I am sure that Ford will make the exterior look sharp and hopefully upgrade the interior. I am concerned with what the output of the V8 engine, suspension, and brakes.
I read a quote from a seemingly reliable source that the new mustang GT *WILL* have 350hp and will maintain fuel economy through disabling 4 cylinders during idle and cruising (either C. Shelby or some other prominent figure that has the connections but doesn't work for Ford - I don't remember who it was). I don't remember where I read it, but I tend to dismiss 99.9% of future-car-speculation as rumor/speculation - and at the time I read this I remember believing it. So take from that what you will..

I think that was Steve Saleen. It was one of the interviews for Transformers. He said the Mustang will have 350hp and the Camaro will have 365hp.

350bhp is a nice round number. As long as the 2010 Mustang isn't any heavier, that'll do nicely.

It's kinda crazy that 300HP really isn't that much anymore these days. I agree 350 would be a nice improvment but will likley not compete well with with the Camaro base V8. From what I gather the Camaro will get the 05-07 Corvette 6.0 making 400HP so lets hope that it is much heavier than the Mustang. In my opinion Ford should step up the GT's output somewhere between 375-400HP

There are 5... just a bit of a gap (bumper) in between.

I thought the Z28 was gonna get the Pontiac G8's V8 and the SS the LS3 from the Vette?

From all the rumors so far the Z28 is not getting a LS engine, it will get the one from the G8.

Ahh yes, I think we're thinking of the same interview. Thanks.
