I think perhaps the strut brace bar is standard on the Convertable? I just saw this........

Mustang GT convertible models feature enhanced structural rigidity, with lateral stiffness improved by 12 percent versus the 2010 model. A tower-to-tower front strut brace is now standard, and the V-brace has been stiffened by adding gussets. The secondary crossmember also has been stiffened while a front Z-brace has been added, connecting primary and secondary crossmembers. A-pillar stiffening foam also has been added to increase rigidity.

The best thing about the new 2011 GT is watching the denial that's going on in the Camaro forums. It's hilarious!! They're claiming that the Mustang will add 300-400 lbs and not be competitive with the Camaro. I can't wait until spring to see what happens on the track!!

Unfortunately the press release also shows that the non Brembo package brakes are 11.5" front and 11.8" rear..

•For 2011, Mustang GT adds specially tuned Electric Power Assist Steering (EPAS), 11.5-inch front and 11.8-inch rear vented disc brakes,
This has to be an error...I believe that is the brakes for the V6 not the V8. I believe currently aren't they like 12.4" or something of that size??

The Brembos are 14" as the press release says as they are probaby from the GT500.

When something really good comes out all the jealous people look for any defect to make them feel good...I Love sports cars, all of them...The Mustang just does it for me...

I have a 2007 GT and it won't take any fuel even when the gas tank is empty. I read a C&D review of the 2010 GT and they complained about fuel spitting out and onto their shoes (I had that happen on my 07 and plenty of 05-06 owners experienced the same thing).

My 07 GT had horrible throttle dead-space and lots of GT owners complain about throttle lag.

The ADM's are also a good reason to avoid first model year releases, but you have to give the OEMs a good 3+ MYs to fix problems. The revised 3V spark plugs are a good example of this.

FWIW I'm going to wait for some solid testing and reviews to see how the '11 GT pans out. The hype and speculation has been overdone ad nauseam for practically everything we see/use on a daily basis (iPhone, iPad, etc...) Just show us the goods.

3.73's are likely the Track Pack gears.
