Oh man. It's been a long time since I've been online but what a time to come back! This makes me want to be the most frugal person on earth so I can afford to keep my 09 Ram, 06 Yamaha R6, 10 GT500 and still be able to afford a DD 11 or 12 GT (maybe a SE). Wonderful work Ford is doing here. I have ooddles of respect for them and their continued effort. BTW, Hello to everyone again!

On second thought.... not a fat chance! Honestly, for me, I would do anything to hold on to my 07 and I would find some way to get a 2011 if I wanted one and still have both.

To me the 2011 is a superior car in just about every way. Powertrain, interior, performance, etc. however, the 2011 is a very progressively designed car whereas the 05-09's were a very retro cue to the past. The design is iconically Mustang and pays tribute to it's heritage...

Love the car steve-o My father has an orginal '70 Boss 302 that he is in the process of restoring hopefully one day he will hand it down to me . Sweet ride I'd settle for a Calli special at this point to be honest I'm looking to spend less than $18,000

My patience has paid off buying the old generation every time. Though the 5.0 is sweet an 05-09 is the bargain of the muscle car world right now and with the '11 coming out there is only going to be more fine examples available.

Dont get me wrong, I actually just went and looked at a Raptor today for the first time. The biggest reason I went with Dodge vs Ford was the interior. It's so much nicer and more refined. More options too. I got the Black Sport 1500 with the Ram Boxes. I LOVE those boxes! But now, I'm considering trading it in later down the road for a '11/'12 GT(SE)!!! It's such a nice time we live in the be able to have the things we do. I love this country.

Why would you buy another Mustang when you have the GT500?

A couple of things the 2011 is missing are heated exterior mirrors (should be packaged w/heated seats) and a telescoping steering wheel. Other than that, Ford has done a great job in offering modern features in 2010 & 2011.

All i got to say is the 2011 mustang with the new 5.0L is bad ***. I have only owned 5.0L mustangs since i've been driving and refused to buy a 4.6L (even though i think they are great engines especially the DOHC's). I'm so glad Ford is bringing the 5.0L back. I'm currently building a new motor for my 95 Cobra but when i'm done I don't care what it takes im getting a 2011 GT

Just to clarify for you. Ford is not bringing back the 5.0L of old. The new 5.0 is a completely different engine from the old 5.0.

I gotta agree, black is the only way to go with the current body style. A Black 5.0 FTW.

Yes according to the article on the other thread unfortunately it does. It seems every time they come up with something good they only screw it up by doing something else to it.

1. Body lines recently changed, but for the worst.

2. Better engine but lousy trans mandate.

3. More horsepower but with a plastic intake manifold.

What else is next ... ???
