Yeah, and where are the ones that stated this car would only make 340 horsepower? I also remember a guy who went after Boomer, calling him stupid essentially for relating information that put the Mustang GT at 400+ horsepower. Hmmm... guess who was spot-on with their information?

I wonder what this is gonna do to '10 Mustang resale values...
As pumped as I am about the 5.0 I'm maybe even more pumped about scoring a low mile 05-09 for short money!

I agree 315 is still a lot of power, but as the owner of a '97 GT I have noticed that 94-95 GTs are actually commanding higher resale value than the 96-98 cars. Despite having the same HP as the 96-97 cars and even 10 less HP than the 98. It seems people tend to gravitate to the 5.0 powered 94-95. I'm guessing part of it is because the 5.0 is far more mod friendly than the 96-98 2V 4.6 cars.
Either way I'm really wanting to join in the s197 crowd! This '11 lineup is awesome, glad to see Ford actually competing with the Camaro!

I'm going to bet that the Brembo Package does take the place of the Track Pack though. I hope it's available with the Glass Roof, unlike now!

I battled with this decision already.. and I really can't NOT purchase a 2011 GT. Even if I only get $12k for my 2008 GT, I realized it's just not an option for me to not buy a 2011 and continue to enjoy my life.
I actually planned out my finances for the next 4 years already, factoring in $12k resale on the '08, assuming worst case scenario of 2010's and 2011's + bad economy resulting in my car being essentially worthless.
