My camera's decent, though it was full sun today making Candy Red look lighter and flatter than it is in person.
And the peril of it now being very very shiny - it's reflecting everything in the area. Still, the car's entirely clean and is happy to be home!

Mopar? my dealer is in Fairfax, Virginia. You need to find out if your dealer is in trouble with Ford. They may have been put on hold on all deliveries. Years ago I had a fuel tank issue with a new Chevy truck. After 3 dealer visits for the same issue and getting a BS line from the dealer I called GM's hotline. After a long winded blah-blah-blah by me I was told to expect a call on Monday at 8 am. I got a call on Monday at 8 am. The dealer ended up pleading with me to bring it in the next day. Weird! Nope, GM had frozen all their orders until this was resolved. That was 1991 and a totally different GM, but every once in a while the OEM's flex their muscle on dealerships.

I'll be pretty pissed if I'm pushed back 2 weeks for no reason.

Deysha gave me the awful news last week and so did my salesman but I've only contacted him twice since aug 16th. He replies within 5 minutes which is awesome but I don't want to annoy anyone cough uop shadow cough so I just ask for bi-weekly updates and then when the car is in transit my salesman said he will check every three days then when it's close then everyday

The good news:
I just found out today from SVT that the build date on the window sticker is the build completion date, not necessarily the build start date.
The bad news:
SVT also said that it could still be 3-6 weeks delivery even though we're close to Chicago & the car will go on a truck, not train. He did say that it could be a little shorter.
Only the great Deysha knows for sure when it will arrive!

Make sure to get the wife to take pictures of you when you first get the car because you will either cry or pass out from excitement

Add me to the list, just ordered my Performance White GT Premium with Red Leather and Track Pack today from Big Valley Ford in Stockton, CA.
Hoping to get the VIN before first week of November, in an unwise move I went ahead and got my loan before I realized I would order. Loan expires in early November and don't want to have to re-apply.

Rebate expires Oct 5th and dealer refuses to honor it past the expiration date. They want me to sign before getting the car (yeah right). Lets hope it shipped over the weekend otherwise I might just walk away.

The stipulations on whether your deposit is refundable or not should be on the back of your contract. Each dealership makes their own contract so they can be very different.
According to Ford Customer Service, it a car has not been built and does not phsically exist, they can help escalate a complaint against the dealership to help you get your deposit back. Once a car is built, then the stipulations on the back of your contract take effect.
