Not your fault Deysha. But, you would think that Ford would want to ship ASAP and get the vehcile into the hands of the customer that is paying cash! Also, make more room at the plant for the newly built vehcles, that are rolling off of the assembly line in record numbers, I hope.
Thank you, guys.

Brian / Jeff,
Since a factory alarm system can't be ordered in a GT/CS, i'm forced to add one after. What is a fair price for a Ford version at the dealer? My salesman is telling me around $900. That sounds way too high. Any suggestions?

$900!! They are out of their minds!!! I just called our Ford supplier who installs all the genuine Ford Accessories, and the one you want would be the "Level 4". Its the most you need as you already have remote entry (Level 6 is more $$ but its because it includes the fobs). I would sell it for aorund $395 or so. This gives a shock sensor to the vehicle and its the best one you can get. I'm sure they are trying to sell you the most expensive "Viper" alarm system or something like it. Your find with the Ford one. Its a good system.

Got an email from my dealer that the car arrived this morning! Waiting to find out when it will be ready to be picked up! Oh and oddly it still is listed as being on Ramp 5P

Does the upgraded Ford alarm have 2 way communication with the keyfobs?
LCD display etc?
