Hi Guys, there was some discussion earlier in this massive thread about locking in your private cash offer ($750) from Ford when you place an order. I have looked for that info and can not find it, but I recall a discussion of how that would be done. (Sales person speaking with their district manager or something?)
If anyone can tell me how to do that, I'd much appreciate it. Thank you.

I was given a small bit of sad news when I picked mine up - the $750 private offer and the $1000 rebate I locked in couldnt be combined because the two promotions didn't overlap. I was only able to get the current $500 and then the $750 private...only $500 difference but it would have been nice to get it all 
The other issue was the Mustang sill on the driver side was damaged so I have to bring it back once they get the part in. It's weird because it looks like it must have been from the factory - it's bent up at a sort of sharp point near the middle. Pretty obvious when you open the door.

I'm still waiting for my brochure as well.
For anyone using X-Plan, do you know when the dealer will get a copy of the invoice and be able to show you the price of your car? I figured I'd want to know at least a couple of weeks before I pick up the car so I can get my financial plan in order.

Hey Deysha,
No hurry, but if you get a minute could you check and see if my ETA has changed now that the car is built? Gave the dealer the last bit of money for it today and he said his system was showing it built on the 9th but my sticker shows the 10th so I trust nothing he says lol.

Hey guys (and ladies if you are here too). I just did some research and found some useful information. If you call 800-392-3673 and give them your VIN, they may be able to give you more information about where your car is, and if they can't they will open a ticket and someone will call you back within a couple of days. When I called I found out that the status the dealer was looking at had not been updated since April 1, so I'm excited to find out what the real status is.
