TMS made Autoblog.

One of the posters noticed the 64V package says Raped Spec. At least Ford is being honest about the pricing!

Oh, probably 2-3 months, to answer your question.
Hey guys, what the process for ordering? Is it as simple as calling them up and giving them your name and ordering? Or is it call them, give them social for credit check and the whole 9 yards?

Hey Jason, if your financing, most dealers would like to get a loan approved, so they know the person is able to pay for it. But beforehand, just go in, give a salesperson the codes to the car you want, and ask them to price it out (or I can price it out for you and send you a pdf copy of a VOC
) and you can take that into a dealer. Then give them a small deposit (I require no more than $500 for ANY order) and your good to go. When you leave, ask for your order number and your priority number. And ask them for the DORA when they get it back a few days later. This is the Dealer Order Recipt Acknowledgement. Any questions, let me know.

Hey Jason, shoot me a PM with all the options you want, and include an email address. I'll price out your car tomorrow when I get in (around 1 pm EST, as I'm leaving for home around 6:30 pm ESP), and I can email you a copy of the Vehicle Order Confirmation. You can use this to order your car at the dealership you go to.
Thanks man

Oh, and on a side note, the Price List has been REMOVED from Ford Dealer website!!!
I think I may have made someone mad!!

I'll give Ford credit and chalk it up to their having floated a trial balloon to gauge response to the pricing. Based upon the response on the internet they decided to hold off on the Order Guide while they do some tweaking on base model content and pricing.
Hmm, maybe they did that? When will we ever see the actual order guide, and price list? I've been waiting a while now..........

I ordered an '11 GT premium coupe for an x-plan customer today. A few goodies and the X-plan price is over $35K (MSRP was $38K). This particular customer didn't care too much about the price, though, as this GT is being sent to Shelby for the GT350 conversion (add another $34K for a total of $69K - yikes!).
I think you may be right. Perhaps Ford is getting feedback on the '11 pricing that suggests they've pushed the envelope too far.

. Guess he has to order in white then huh?
I think if I ordered my car the way I want it, minus the Glass Roof (which is basically the option I want the most after sitting a car with it) then I would be fine with the pricing if I could get 1% over invoice or around there. I figure that I could always have the CDC Glassback or Saleen Glass Roof installed post-title. Many 05-09 owners have done that. OR...I could get everything minus the Brembo package and then add the brakes and wheels/tires later. I really want to see if the Brembo pack includes the 3.73s and what suspension changes are included first though.
