Ok, it is the 2010...
Would I agree 90%?
no because all I see is a different front end and rear and interior
+ for the sake of testing, EVEN if the other panels were the same or the test car is using current panels for the time being.... does not mean they won't change.
Remember the last 'spy shots' were only just front end being tested and the rest of the panels the same.
they don't HAVE to use all the new panels
(especially since this is the same platform/chassis)

thats exactly my point, that at best this car is just testing portions of the 2010 and is not what the final thing will look like. IMO they took a current V6 (that will look nothing like the 2010) and are perhaps testing portions of the 2010. The final product wont look anything like the current car. Just think about the SN95 change, the 99 looks nothing like a 98. So even if it is a test mule Im not too excited because I dont think and hope the final product will look anything like this so its kind of a waste of time to get excited.
The padding isn't just over the body, a lot of times they'll put in extra to throw you off.
My point is what you are seeing (which is a good deal) is what you'll get.
You DO see the shape of the front end a bit in the way the mouth to the grille is.
You DO see the rear tail lights
We DO know the greenhouse is going to be the same
So really, what you're missing is the side/hips/hood (which COULD very well be under there and I think are)
and clear shots of the front end/rear

Guess we'll only find out when its launched.
So, to start the next argument.....I mean discussion, when do you think this'll be? 2009 Detroit show as a concept, 2010 Detroit show as a production car?
I'm guessing (there's a lot of that around here
) that if it's an '10 model it could go on sale in '09......meaning it could actually be shown as a concept NEXT MONTH, with the production car shown 12 months later and on sale a few months after that.
Whaddya reckon?

Hard to say
Even the Camaro was said to be not in final form at this years NAIAS
Although there could be one there 'just in case'
I guess a lot of that happens
Or they could save it for NY especially if a Mach1/BOSS SE is shown
Or visa versa

Here's another thing......you're a spy photographer who's been hiding out in some freezing cold town a 1000 miles from anywhere. Suddenly, you find your prey, a 2010 Mustang (possibly), all alone under some ugly cladding.
Now, do you take a new snaps and run away, or do you try and rip off the disguise and get to the real truth underneath?
Perhaps there's a spy photographer "code" and this just isn't the done thing.
Just seems a bit strange, that's all.

well i think its would be either ford starts a law suit or not. and they would lose so bad in court since for 1 they were in the wrong and 2 ford has more money for lawyers.

I have always been told that any new car has to be Done a full 2 years in advance. There has to be plenty of time to get all the pieces and parts together tested and approved. If they are talking a New car I can believe that but a refresh like the 2010 I would guess they might make some changes pretty late in the game. Its the 2012 that should be something to see! I am still hoping Ford keeps all their options open until they see an actual production Camaro then make sure it is a nice enough refresh to pick some sales up.

I think it'll look good when we see a REAL pic
That one is all camo'd up and not really a good way to see the shape.
From what I've read/heard the interior puts ours to shame (2005-2009)

A No No...
Touching the padding in any way is prohibited...Sure some ******* might
pull them off and snap away on his cellphone but he/she will be found and prosecuted.
The spy photogs do have a "Code" ...snap away but don't touch.
They want to keep their jobs.
Oh yeah and they borrowed the "2010" Mustang antenna from the MX5!

I tweaked my original chop to better incorporate the info on the following link, as well as moved the turn signals to the outside as many people seem to think they would go there:

but based on this pic it looks to me that they go on the inside:

like in my original which I like a little more:

and one more with a little more Guigiaro influence:

Usually the design has to be finalized 2 years before production start. Running prototypes usually appear around a year before production. Earlier vehicles are normally made up from other vehicles and only test certain parts and systems for the final vehicle and do not really represent the production vehicle.
