2010 Coupe without camo...
#241
Man, I can't believe how some people are getting so worked up over the taillights and rear treatment when all this stuff is still in camo (there's a reason they put that camo pattern on the cars-- to obscure details and trick the eyes). Personally, I'm waiting 'till we see a finished version before condemning anything.

Vermillion06 and 429 Boss Mustang: Soooooo, guys, are you telling us that the cladding at the bottom of the rear bumper doesn't smack of Avalanches, Azteks, and Elements??? Eeewww!
Sheesh! ("I'm Boomer, and I approved this expletive.")
BTW, which of you are gonna take the challenge and find even one syllable of my preceding posting upstream that isn't true?
Greg "Eights" Ates--***** extraordinaire--but with vision corrected to 20-20 which appears to give me an unfair advantage in this teapot tempest...

Wow! I did post #2 on this one and just now came back to see where we are at on the picture opinions. Holy Fire Storm Batman!!
I really almost like all the rear area, including the new tail light arrangements. That being said. The only piece that seems to be a bit of over kill in MHO, is that big dark, ugly lower valance area? And what's going on with those rear quarter windows? Also got to agree that 2010 coupes do look rather smooth and also very clean with no scoops or any rear spoiler shown! CalStang

Nice new shots of the GT too.
The grille on the V6 is the same that we saw from before that I mentioned in the V6 thread.
Looks pretty aggressive too, but not as much as the GT, GT500

the more I see this the more I like it. If it has the mechanical improvements to match the overall design improvements then I will seriously have to consider this. I know, not till 2011, however I can wait to see what will be done for that year and hopefully by then we will be getting a bit of news on the total remodel for 2014 (or whenever it may turn out to be).
they have done a really nice job with the front making it slightly more agressive, and the rear totally redesigning it, making it seem a part of the car now not just an afterthought. especially with the new valance on the rear, something it really needed to break up the big butt effect that the present one can get from certain views and it really does a nice job of finishing the lower half of the car.
overall the car has a much more polished, refined look and feel that should allow it to compete well against higher priced, more highly perceived vehicles (ie bmws) without losing the true american muscle car feel.
isnt it about time for the new teaser pics from ford?

I think as subtle as the changes are the biggest selling point will be the upgraded engines. Unless the 5.0 is in it why would anyone trade in thier current 05-09? You aint going to scare the Camaro or Challenger with looks alone. Bring the 400HP 5.0 then it would be worth it. Plus that black plastic is a turn off just looks cheap.
