i read alot of the comments left on the pictures of the link they are not very impressed.. Also if you look close on the fender pannel you can see a big square on the side of the picture. Is that a small vent or what? or could be were the gt emblem is. The gt500 has a big square on it but its bulged out.

but im really likeing it

Yeah the sidemarker now looks awkward like a misplaced necessity. The best solution was the way it was handled in the original 05 design being combined in a single wraparound strip with the turn signals.

to me it looks like they took HTT's design and simply tried to change it. what they forgot to do was change it positively. withholding final judgement.

HTT wasn't/isn't a designer.
He's an engineer, and was the project lead on the car.

Yeah, but there is hope that we are still far enough in the prototype phase that a lot of these kinds of things will go away in production versions.

The Production car debuts at the car show in 69 days doesn't it?
I highly doubt there are going to be any body changes on what we have seen this late in the game.

69 days is a long-g-g-g time in prototypeland. LOL I watched program on the roll out of the new GT40, the morning of the big debuit they were still "wrenching" on the machine, and the car was in pieces all over the shop floor.

More to the point the Camaro is still getting reworked and it's debuit was sometime ago. Plus the corp world will let some disinformation leak to the outside "just to keep the competition off balance".

Plus the new Stang doesn't go to production till what? March/April? So we are still some ways away from seeing the finial-final "for sure this time" version.

Once again, almost precisely what I wanted. It can't be perfect for everyone, and theres still a few things I might tweak, but overall good job by Ford

Ford GT is not Mustang GT

Certain things CAN get reworked, but visuals aren't one of them, not this close.

Production... earlier than that...

wish we had a better pic of the fascia on the gt. and the hips are killin me i want to see how they look without the lines being broken up.....
