I wish the taillights weren't as "stolen" from the fiesta and focus coupes and had more of its own shape. They could be more interesting than they are. For as interesting as the rest of the car's design is, the taillights are boring...the headlights are borderline boring..
again... compared to the rest of the car, they just seem out of place. but just barely. More like a sliding triple than a homerun.

The design sketches in the Moto-Man video indicate the rear was much bolder at one point. Everything gets toned down from sketch to metal, but given how close to the outgoing Mondeo and other FoE models the final result is, I get the sneaking feeling someone in the process thought the look was "too" bold. We've heard here and there that the Chinese market prefers a more subdued look, and FoE might have had a hand in the dial-back as well.
