Only sanctioned tracks that give a care in the world acctually follow their tech. Alot of the tracks here dont unless its a sanctioned race or event. For my safety and others, I wish alot of places here would at least tech cars to make sure they are ok enough to make a pass.

Good runs Rob. Bring it down here for Barbers in July and we will put the slicks on it and I can find another pair for Jasons car and you guys can shoot it out.

Slicks? Thanks, but I think I'll pass, I don't want to be buying a whole new rear. I heard slicks need 31 spline axles.

31 splines my tail!!!!

I know guys that have at least 150 passes on slicks on the STOCK 8.8" pushing over 500rwtq. Your clutch is gonna go way before your rear end. Especially at your power level. Ive got at least 20 launches on my car with slicks and never had a problem

LOL! That was at our Fall Cruise-In yesterday, and we were allowed to do so as long as we did them in the opposite direction of the street.
