Well "Santa" came today and he drives a 'Big Brown Truck'!!

Staying home today because I'm feeling a little under the weather (understatement), I had the fortunate luck to be able to great Mr. UPS driver at the door and he had a couple of 108 lb boxes for . . me.

I basically 'stole' these of ebay.com!! (GREAT PRICE!) (Nice Quality!!)

18x9 'Black Chrome' mounted on 265/35/18 tires.

Vogtland springs coming after Labor Day, and final installation around the end of September!!

And . . Yes, I will be putting in the stock centercaps to the new wheels/tires.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, I really need to get them on the car!

Yes, I am very lucky person, especially to have a Fiancee who purchased the wheels for a Engagement/Christmas present!

Complete pictures will definitely follow!

Are you the one who outbid me for those wheels? j/k
Those are going to look great on your Mach.
I have been seriously thinking about getting those for my Mach. How does the quality of the wheels and tires look in person? I don't know a lot about tires but it looked like they through a cheap set of tires on the rims to complete the package. Please tell me that these are decent or good tires so that I can get a set for myself.

Wheels look great, no issues whatsoever with finish! They really look good, and I too was somewhat skeptical with the auction. There is a line within the auction that states . .

"The product may have minor cosmetic blemishes not specifically mentioned."

So I emailed the seller with a question to state specifically what the "blemishes" could be, and their response . .

"The wheels we currently have posted on eBay could have a variety of minor blemishes. When we discount a rim by selling it at auction, it can be blemished for any of several "COSMETIC" reasons and are sold “as-is†with no warranty. The blemishes are MINOR and may consist of an imperfection in the paint/finish, teeny ding, buffing marks, a combination of these items, or other slight irregularity in the appearance. The rims are still structurally sound and we guarantee them to be straight, true and not out of round. If we ever get a seriously blemished wheel, we simply return it to our wheel factory for replacement. We NEVER sell new wheels with serious blemishes or safety related defects.

If you are overly concerned about the finish and a minor imperfection would bother you please keep in mind that there is no such thing as a “perfect wheel†. If you are OK with minor blemishes that would not be noticeable once the wheels are mounted on your car unless you are looking very close, than you might be pleased with the additional savings on our auction wheels. That is certainly a decision that only you can make."

So I bit, and I have to say mine look GREAT!!

As far as the tires? I don't think they are great by any means(Nexon), in fact I would have rather had size 265/40/18 tires, but here are some of the tire specs:
Treadwear - 340
Traction - AA
Temp - A

So they can't be TOO bad!

The sellers are great (AFS Wheels), I would purchase from them again.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Jason! That helps a lot.
If I remember correctly, those tires are H rated. I'm pretty sure that our stock tires are Z rated. Is it true that the H rating is lower? If so, what are the disadvantages, if any to the lower rated tire?

Adam-

The Nexon's that come with the package are "Z" rated (265/35/18). So no worries. I asked "V10" (on this site) some questions about tires/wheels and he is very informative and helpful. If I can't help you, I know he can!

wuawuauwuawua

those rims would look stunning on a white mach also. i love the black accents and the darker wheels on the comp orange, zinc yellow, azure blue and oxford white mach's.
