So far all I have is this:

10-14 connector C220

PA66-GF35

YA-2

05-09 car connector C220

Tyco

lever actuated shiled
1326362-7

Housing
1326042-1

PA66 GF35

PA66 GF35 is the type of plastic. I need to know if the 10-14 plug has any other markings? Just the ones listed? TE Connectivity said that if it does not say Tyco, TE or AMP then it is not one of theirs and they can't help me. This is the more important one, as we need this one to plug into the new cluster when mounted in the car.

Alex,

On the red sleeve of the plug, was there numbers? The part that would face the cluster? Or a stylized TE stamp?

That part is white and there is nothing I can find on it. Plain ..

I looked at some of the other ones and they say TE and have numbers. This one is just plain..

There is another one on the harness that also has 26 pins but two additional guides. That one also says YA-2

Update:

We have made datalogs of the canbus info. We will now be looking at what codes do what and then figure out how to convert that info. A module will be built to process this info.

When done, this should be a plug and play kit.

More info in a week or two.

Get a GT500 cluster - from a 2014!!

At least then you would have the snake logo on the cluster screen upon start up!

I know that getting the boost guage from these cluster to work with aftermarket superchargers. Zeroaviation can give you more info on that, though.

Getting the part numbers for the connectors was NOT a simple thing. Took alot of digging and contacting people in the know of the connector world.

I finally have the part number for both the 05-09 and 10-14 connectors to the clusters.

10-14 connector C220 - 1 piece
Made by Yazaki
7287 2043 30

05-09 car connector C220 - 2 parts to this connector
Made by Tyco (Now TE Connectivity)
lever actuated shielded - 1326362-7
Housing - 1326042-1

Sorry for the delay guys.

I only get to spend 1-2 hours a week on Forum projects ( this, cluster swap, BB mods)

Hopefully after this month is over I can dedicate a week night or two.

Thanks Jim for finding the connectors! I got the datasheet in email. However, i cannot find a supplier.

Cheers,
-Matt

You can get them from Alex from the emails I sent and order them straight from Yazaki.

Jim, This is an awesome mod. Are you planning to produce conversion kits at some point?
