AS 302 asked in another thread - we've been here working all night trying to catch up a bit - it's 5:06am now, and I just took a break to come see what's up online. We're starting to try to get ahead a little before our move, need a new shop with a showroom and all finally!

Anyway, on schedule so far this week is shifter bezels (they weren't finished last week) and possibly 94-04 fuel doors. Rear medallions need to run one more time to get a big stockpile set up, and if nothing else "pops" that has to get done, we can move into the switch plates.

I've got the new door locks done, but I want to offer them as a kit with something else, so they aren't being released just yet

Come help us move!!

New machining center (1 of 2)will be delivered to the new shop on Monday, should have it hooked up and in production by the end of the week, blow through the backlog of current parts, and switch plates will be coming The move got sped up from a two month process down to three weeks, we're doing the best we can, so just give us a little more patience and we'll have these coming - no more new products until these are done...

Sure sounds like y'all are growing as fast as Orange County Choppers did... all I can say is that even through your growing pains you've never lacked in customer service and quality!!! We can wait for these, as when they hit the market they'll be sweet!

Yesterday was 3 x 32' trailer loads full from one shop to the other. There's two more to go easily, and we can't even move the machines ourselves, so those are coming by riggers... I doubt a set of switch plates would be worth it for the amount of work that we did yesterday!

On the plus side though, you might be able to be one of the first to come visit our new facility. It's really coming out nicer than I had hoped, and so it's going to be a place we'll be happy to have customers come and visit, compared to our current place which can swallow cars in the potholes in the parking lot... we'll be working from the new shop in back though until the new tile gets put down by the landlord in the next week or two - we weren't supposed to move in until May 1, but we're already almost in, now we just have to set it all up and get everything flowing again...

700 S. John Rodes Blvd.
Unit B-10
W. Melbourne, FL 32904

Basically about 10 miles NW of where we are. By June it should be all done and running, we were thinking about a grand opening party for the locals, but not sure how that'll work out yet...

Ford creates the satin aluminum finish for the inside door handles and IUP shift lever and bezel by actually using chrome plating on plastic parts which has been chemically dulled to give a satin appearance.

This technique I have seen a long time ago in scale model car kits where they chemicaly dull the chrome plating to look like billet aluminum.

If someone could figure out how to take the factory black plastic switch bezels and chrome plate them with a subsequent process to dull the sheen of the chrome then we will have matching IUP satin aluminum door switch bezel trim.

Any news

I hate to bump my own thread, but it's been a while and I was wondering what's up with these? Are we any closer? Will we see them by the end of the year?
