Full Billet Switch Plates:...Please...
No problem guys - we're working hard (7 days a week + now) trying to keep up with you (THANKS!!) so it's not forgotten or anything, just we had to get through the holidays and catch up a lot of backorders that we owed our customers.
Update - the grill inserts will be shipping daily as of tomorrow, a lot of our current billet products are back in stock in all finishes (came in Thursday), and we're adding more capacity in our machining department to get more products going for everyone (myself included).
We are going to be trying to keep to the 1 new product per month for 2008, it just might come in spurts depending upon how the pieces get through production and through finishing, which seems to be a bottleneck no matter what we do. Good chrome platers and anodize shops that meet our standards are hard to find, and consumes an inordinate amount of our time currently...

Hard to say - since we haven't made them yet, it would be unfair to throw out a number, mostly because the machining time and fixturing will be the big cost in them, not the raw material (although it will cost more than the caps, that is a relatively fixed cost). I'm going to guess they won't be a terribly cheap solution, but they should be elegant to say the least - basically you will be getting what you pay for. The backside has a lot more work involved than the front side, plus we need to make a convertible and coupe-specific version of the part, adding to the costs of making it "right" and stocking then at least 12 parts to cover 4 finishes and two models. And someone please help us if we then offer them engraved and non-engraved, effectively doubling the potential inventory...
You could always stock non-engraved and leave the engraved options as an upgrade that would require adding X days extra to process. I don't know if it would be cost effective though. I had mine out to replace my green LEDs and you are right there is a lot on the under side.
Ehh, it doesn't work well because a lot of people want the part the minute it is ordered, and while if we shipped "raw" it wouldn't be so bad to do that, since there is a three week wait ( or more) from anodize / finishing, you could quickly be out 6-8 weeks for something that should be on the shelf.
We'll see, it'll be coming as soon as we can run it and see what we come up with. On the flip side, have we ever let you guys down on the quality of the finished pieces that we've had you wait patiently for?

Thanks!
It's easy to keep up that kind of record when you care what it looks like on your own car. If I wasn't born and bred a Mustang enthusiast, it would be a lot easier to let stuff go, but being just as crazy about this stuff as everyone else seems to be, it gives me a bit of perspective on what a part should be when we let it out the door.
Ok, back to work...second shift is just getting started!

Not yet.
I can show you pictures of what we're working on now, but it's not car related, so I doubt it would be of interest... plus you'd need to sign an NDA and all kinds of other stuff too...
But I'm thinking that if you can imagine a fusion of our current shifter bezel & climate control ***** / mirror controls blended into a switch plate, you will have a good idea of what this is going to start to look like
