the only way I can think of to get rid of the oil pressure light is to run the sensing wire though a timer relay. The sensing wire is sent to a ground for whatever time you set the relay to, fooling the car to thinking there is oil pressure, then after the time elapses the relay switches the sensing wire back to the oil pressure sending unit, detecting that there actually is pressure.

Useful pickup line???
Hey, has anyone tried using this "engine start" as a pick up line for your date?
"Hey baby, you wanna start my engine?"
Just a thought....

I am looking at this picture of the Ford GT. It looks to have the same engine start button as the accessory one from Ford Racing. Notice also that the GT uses a key to unlock the steering column. Matter of fact the airbag unit and steering column with the exception of the stalk switches seem to be the same. When I first saw the GT come out I thought maybe Ford would use the same airbag for the Mustang and they did. But notice the small diameter of the steering wheel on the GT.
Anyway, my point of this was to illustrate that the GT start button looks identical to the one Ford Racing is selling.

Has anyone tried to relocate the ignition key? Maybe on the floor near the drivers seat?
I'm trying to think of a way to make it where you do not need the key to start the car, but you need it to put the car into gear. Very similar to how an auto start system works, but without being able to do it from outside of the cockpit. I'll ask a few of the car guys at work today, I'm sure they'll have a thought or two about it...
