I took the chill off the trunk lid with a hair dryer, not too hot or too cold. Like it was said in another post, PRACTICE a few times.

====================================

I thought about photos.

However, since my baby is Performance White, the previously posted photos of the sample panel by Marcello on the rear of his Performance White GT look exactly the same as how the panel looks on my baby. Plus Marcello apparently has a better camera that I do.
So, just look back at the previous posted photos and that is how the panel looks on mine.

RCW,

Thanks man, I only have a decent camera because I write for Mustang Enthusiast magazine, and it is kind of a requirement if you want to be able to do some of the more photo-intensive work that is required.

As to the temperature thing everyone...

What is in the directions is what we were told by 3M. We're not saying you can't use a heated garage and make it happen, or other methods, just that we recommend you follow the advice of the tape manufacturer when it comes to adhesion temperatures. How you achieve that is up to you, and of course due to the nature of the society we live in today, if we told people to use a blow dryer or a heat gun or something, someone would spill hot coffee on themselves while doing it and then blame us, so we tried to keep that stuff out of our general directions.

BTW, as everyone receives their parts, if your particular feedback time hasn't expired on EBay, we'd appreciate the positive (we hope) feedback if you could leave it for us. Everyone who pre-ordered received positive feedback at the time of their particular auction, and since we haven't done anything really since getting this going, our feedback has been hovering for about 3-4 months now.

Thanks again, and keep the pictures coming on different colored cars and different models!

Well, I just ordered my honeycomb taillight panel. I also ordered the rear taillight chrome bezel trim kit for even more of the retro look. I think it will compliment the honeycomb panel, the chrome fake gascap, and the chrome tips on my JBAs with my black top vert. I'll post pics when I get everything in.
My thoughts exactly

I've already got the taillight trim and MRT's tips for my mufflers. Just waitin' on my panel

Hey now... I hope that's drool and not choking in that last post!

We've got enough stock now to fill all the orders, and I expect them to be out by Tuesday or Wednesday. WE just wrapped the PRI show this evening, so I'm going to call it a night at this point.

We will be up and at 'em tomorrow morning preparing shipments to go out Monday. Keep checking your inboxes!

I should hope so.

We're averaging about 30 a day at the moment, hopefully will get up to more, but it seems we keep needing to stop for this or that and it takes away from packaging time.

We're also having trouble with the email notification system we're trying to use, but hopefully we'l get the bugs out of it quick enough. In the meantime, we're just emailing everyone as their parts get stacked for pickup / delivery.

Ok, well since you put it that way...

We're working through September tonight and tomorrow. On par for everyone to be taken care of by Friday at the latest.

I expect some more pictures soon! My website is kind of dull with just our car on there!

Mine finally showed up today after sitting at the border for a week. All I have to say is the part looks FANTASTIC!!! I held it up to my car's bum and it's going to look great... after the snow melts and it's warmer than the -8C it's at today, that is.

For anyone that's on the fence on this product, buy one now! Now that it's in my hands I can attest to the quality and the heft of it. I would have paid twice what I did for it and still felt like I was getting a deal! BUY ONE NOW! NOW, NOW, NOW!!!!

Great job Marcello! Here's looking forward to whatever you dream up next!
