That's funny and cool at the same time! I got a good laugh out of it.

Can I get any credit for having the first Performance white one with a honeycomb panel on it? !!

I just ordered my panel today, woot! For mah little pony in torch with the black rockers and side stripes, that panel should look great with the mustang tunning chrome surrounds. I think I am only going to add the mirror caps and be done with it for a while. The torch red pony package kinda looks like a 'cartoon' sports car, like a big toy. I think the panel will get peoples eyes 'up' from the lower rear of the car and reduce the somewhat square and fat look the bumper has on the V6 without the lower skirt.

I put my dad's on his performance white gt with no spoiler and it looks like an entirely different car.

Well, the long wait is finally over. I installed mine yesterday and couldn't be happier with the results. Check 'em out.

I particularly like the one that shows both the fuel door and the blackout panel. As some of you might have read in the other thread I had a slight problem with the installation of mine. After I received the panel, I did a dry fit and found that my rear emblem was smaller than most. This allowed some of the red paint to show up around the emblem. I let Marcello know and he kindly offered to send me some vinyl pinstriping to fill in the gap (which was pretty small).

So, I put the pinstriping on around the emblem, used my space heater to get the garage up above 60 and installed the panel. I think it looks great and am very happy with the results. Marcello should be credited for the fine craftsmanship of this product and on his strong desire to make his customers happy. :worship:

Marcello,

Please feel free to use any of my pics on your website. PM me if you want higher res photos.

Currently it's 129.00 + 13.00 S/H via FedEx or USPS to the USA. S/H 24.00 if you are in Canada, and everywhere else is whatever it costs.

It's on our product page on our website until our new web store is up and running.

Jeromy-

Looks awesome. That is a really nice looking Mustang you have there. I think we'll be adding a couple shots to our customer page soon enough, that will definitely be included.

Having followed the R&D of the panel and reading comments from members, I was expecting good things with the panel. When I got it Friday, I still was surprised how well made it was and how it fit - perfect!!!

I would have posted earlier but didn't want the wife to find out before Christmas. Thanks, Marcello, for a quality piece! I finally got a chance to do a trial fit. I was anxious to see how the panel would fit with the Auto Ventshade taillight bezels. Not bad but will have to (very slightly) trim the panel curved edges at the top inside corners of the taillights. Looks like more of a rub than interference actually. This going to look great with the rest of the Mach1 theme we are planning! Here's a pic (hope I did this right).

Hey Rich, did you fix the "interference" ? I'm going for the exact same treatment on the back of my black GT and I'm curious as to what you did to make the panel and the AVS bezels fit together properly.
Thanks!

Louie,

I haven't mounted the panel yet due to the weather. However, the interference is very slight and should only require minimal trimming. I will probably try to trim it with an X-acto knife. I probably wouldn't even bother if I wasn't so fussy.

how close is the colour match between the AVS bezels and the silverhorse racing insert? I have the bezels on order and was going to get the insert, but if they don't match then I would have to get all of them painted

John,

The AVS bezels come in a transluscent "smoked" color. I painted mine with SEMS black trim paint before installing. I'd say the panel is just a bit shinier than the semi-gloss paint, though.

Thanks Rich. I didn't realize they were transluscent. I'll definately have to paint them when they arrive

Here is mine. Picture is not the best. The car is apart right now. Cut the hood last weekend for the shaker. It is at the body shop to have the center painted. FRPP shorty headers and Flowmasters going on this weekend. Cam covers are out for powdercoating. C & L intake is waiting for the rest to come back so I can adjust it to fit the shaker.

Any word on the tail light bezels?

Soon. We're working on getting what we want at a price we feel is fair. Making them for 300.00 a set is not what I feel is fair to customers, so I have to get that down... a LOT. As soon as we get there though, we'll let everyone know.
