Will the Shelby be available to the Public?

I hate to tell you wretched but i bet anything the shelby will get in the high 11s in the quarter and the Z06 will probalby do it around 11.1 and for 30 grand more you pay on the Z06 which one sounds like the better deal here? And the corvette is plain ugly they have had the same design for 40 years get a new design i havent seen a corvette look better then any shelby and the new shelby wont be any different. And you dont have to dump crazy money into the shelby to get it to beat the new Z06 only like a grand or 2 maybe less and you will smoke the new GT500 that dont sound like crazy money to me. Face it the GT500 will have better bang for your buck.

I definitely prefer the Mustang over the Corvette, especially in terms of style and value. But I have to give the 'Vette it's props, the car is a capable performer and can run with exotics costing much more. It's just not the car for me or for most of those who post here.

Why didn't you just edit your original post instead of making a new post to do that?

Imagine what it could do with a Whipple twin screw..... YUM!
The new z06 will be running a compression ration probably in the 11.5:1 or 12:1 range, dont plan on supercharging that and getting away with it.
