So I should feel safe ordering Borla Catbacks... and assume they ARENT the quiet type right? :scratch:

 

RPM Outlet says they have Borlas in stock on their website. I ordered the other day(before I read the thread with the RPM Outlet warning) and on the order page it says "Shipping weight= 22LBS"

I clicked the UPS tracking thing and it's showing Shipping weight as 14LBS. :scratch: Are the Borlas really 14LBS shipped? Should I be worried?

 

I would call and make sure that they are really in stock. I ordered mine from them and called just to confirm and they didn't have any. I cancelled and went with another company.

 

As far as I know, Borla only makes one type of catback......and it should have the 11750's as the muffler portions.

The 11750's are what we have in the 'Mods behaving badly' thread

I just want to say thanks to all of you who have helped me. I am waiting for my refund of the FRPP mufflers, and have already paid for my new Borla set. They are now doing the right thing after speaking to Greg at Borla. My new 11750's should be here in about two weeks, they are being drop shipped from Borla. The release date on the new batch is approx. 9/9 in case anyone is waiting for an order. My advice to all of you is to call and order things you see online, and always check stock! Chris there is only one catback.

Our axle back is NOT a rebadged Borla. They are made to OUR specifications by Borla.

The Steeda axle back is designed to have a nice rumble at idle and screams at wide open throttle. However,

they do not have the typical 1800 to 2500 rpm drone associated with aftermarket exhausts.

I currently have 8 sets in stock and have another shipment due in next week.

Well, I am still awaiting my refund from the first set, so this company now has about $1000 of mine, and it's through Paypal. Even after they give me a refund on my first order, it will take 4 days to get back into my bank account. They assured me yesterday that once my new payment went through, that my refund would be automatic.

 

Well, got an e-mail today saying that they got the FRPP loud system in today, so it should be on my doorstep by Friday, and they are going to refund my money I paid for the Borla system. I figured this would be much less painful than having to keep waiting. I am still getting the Borla system I want, just with Ford's name on it.
