Hi Guys,
I ordered the Borla axleback mufflers ( part # 11750 Stingers ) from Ninosports this week and Nino called to tell me there is no stock and they won't be in production at Borla for 4-6 weeks yet. I called RPM Outlet to see they had some in stock and they told me that they are NOT in production at Borla yet. I don't get it. I have seen these mufflers for sale for months and know I have seen threads about the Borla Stingers on this web site. Heck, the great reviews are why I ordered this brand. Where did the people that have Borla kits get them if they are not in production yet? Nino is great to deal with and I will wait to get what I want, but I am alittle disappointed. I do not think companies should take orders if they can't supply the parts. Where did the guys that posted on this website get theirs??

Yeah I heard a while back that they were on back order.
I was lucky to get mine right away.....
They are SO worth the wait.

Hey Boomer,
It was your and Dan's film clips that sold me on the Borla's. I can wait. I won't like it. But I can wait.

You can try steeda..if they have their Axle back kits in stock they are Borla's..

Since Borla makes them for Steeda and FRPP does that mean Borla just stamps Steeda's and FRPP's names on them or are there actual differences in the mufflers themselves?

Hmmmm!
That is very interesting. Steeda's are actually cheaper by about 75 bucks. I agree that they look about the same but you are sure them are the same just with different names stamped in??

I just got my Borla's at the end of June and when I ordered them they checked with Borla and they only had 8 in stock. Whew, talking about cutting it close! Man, do they sound good!

They make them for Steeda with their logo stamped in them and their own design tip..I know, I used to work for Borla and Steeda was my account...If you want the steeda mufflers though (Borla) Call my buddy Sean at extreme mustang 818 883 8836 and tell him chris from Banks sent you.He will save you some $$ over the steeda price...
I got mine from Quadratec.com (a jeep place), so I don't think they will have any in stock, but you can try. When I ordered mine he had none and since they are a jeep place (only carry a couple of Mustang things), I doubt he has them in stock. Yes, they are the 4" rolled tips. I'm not sure on the weight, but they are a whole heck of a lot lighter than the stocks.

Thanks Chris,
I will give him a call on Monday to see what he says. I am still sold on the Borla sound and looks on the tips. I could have bought cheaper pipes months ago but I wanted what I consider and have heard was the best. However if they are basically the same as Steeda I might re-consider. Do you think they are the same except for the tip shape?
