I once reset the trip computer while doing 200 km/h (125 mph) in 5th gear (4000 rpm) with cruise control on for about 5 minutes and it showed an average fuel consumption of 26.5 l/100 km (8.8 mpg).
At 145 mph I'm sure it would have been around 7.5-8.0 mpg.

Fastest I have had the 06 is around 125 MPH, and that was before my mods, but it still had plenty of pull in stock form. However, I have had the pleasure of watching the speedo get buried well beyond 140 MPH when I was on the dyno in 4th gear. Doesn't get much safer than that!

Yeah, gonna hate going back to the States. 145MPH a few times on the autobahn. You know what's cool? 135+MPH with cruise control on. Talk about an out of control feeling. Average just from one side of the city to the other on the autobahn is 100+. Really used to it now. Can't drive 75.......

Wow - I'm feeling slow. Only been over 120 once, that was about 125 or so. Been up to 110 a few times....

Looking forward to a safe opportunity to run it up to 140+!!!

well when I hit 6200 rpm in 4th and power shifted into 5th and pulled to about 5000 I let off the gas. I have the stock 3.55's so does anyone know how fast that was???? I know that the speedo was burried. I have had my dads 90GT to 175 MPH. that was un friggin beliveable. 5500 RPM in 5th gear with a 3.73 rearend.

I've been up to slightly over 120 twice, but I chickened out immediately after seeing how fast I was going. I'm waaaaay too scared of getting busted.

125 on the bridge over manatee river (I-75), no traffic and a bridge is very safe, no one entering the road. Came off the on-ramp and let it rip. Just installed the front chin spoiler and wanted to make sure it would hold. Amazed how fast 125 came and it was still pulling hard.
I know that bridge I've been up to 115MPH on Alligator Alley on my way to the Steeda Stampede in October. Had the cruise set at 95MPH for a while and was surprised that the car was smoother at 95 than it is at 85. Gotta love it

140 by the speedo - GPS said 138. The guy next to me started to scream like a girl so I let off. It was HIS idea to see how fast it would go so please hold the flames. He just didn't have an idea of HOW fast it WOULD go.

140+ many times including racing a yellow 350z and a yellow Evo. The 3 of us were all in a row.

touched 140 on I-5 north of Stockton, no traffic. The car felt great but the fear of a hidden and bored CHP kept me from sustaining it for more than a second. I didn't notice any hood shaking like I've read about. I've done 120 on accident just passing a car late night on the freeway just cruising. This car is really smooth and doesn't feel like it's going as fast as it is.
Hey nynvolt . . . we're in the same general vicinity!

I got mine up to 135 on Escalon-Balota Road out through the vinyard area where there's that huge valley you drop into and can see two miles ahead from the top at either side. That was on the way home from the dealership on it's maiden voyage with less than 100 miles on the odometer . . . . drive it like ya stole it!
