120 plenty of times with open road and just me to endanger. I hit 130 once and it felt smooth as 80, 101 in Southern Cali.

135. Out in the middel of no where coming into a valley were I could see the road for the next 15 miles. And no traffic. At all. Still had a lot left in her!

120 on a backroad in central Nebraska... Cousin asked how fast it can go, and I said "I'm not sure, lets find out!" Punched it in 4th and ran out of road.

touched 140 on I-5 north of Stockton, no traffic. The car felt great but the fear of a hidden and bored CHP kept me from sustaining it for more than a second. I didn't notice any hood shaking like I've read about. I've done 120 on accident just passing a car late night on the freeway just cruising. This car is really smooth and doesn't feel like it's going as fast as it is.

I have only gotten to 104 at the track. I can't afford a ticket. So many potholes around here I don't want to hurt my car.

I wonder what it would have done in 5th gear?
The governor is supposed to halt it at about 145 from my understanding so 5th would not have added much. I did up shift to fifth but by the time I got back on the gas the speed had dropped to almost 130 (remember I did bounce off the limiter so I had no pedal response for a few seconds) and the pull was slow so I just let her slow back down to 75.

120+ but only because I ran out of room. Still had lots of power at that speed to. my 2003 corolla I use to have before would of self destroyed at those speeds.

141 on I-71 North with no exits for 20 miles and hills on both sides of the road so there was no place for the Smokies to hide.

I270 N in Maryland after the Father Hurley exit, heading home after work, hit 120 and ran out of clear road. Had the wife in it one day and told her we're doing 90 ("Slow down!!!") but we were really doing about 110. Surprisingly stable.
Hey, that's my neck of the woods! Great stretch of road until you come to the weigh station.

120 on a back road. It was a little too much fun. Next summer I'm shooting for 145.

But really, I enjoy opening it up on some curves a lot more. Anybody can go fast in a straight line. G forces trying to pull you out of your seat are much more fun.

I've been up to about 135 and that was up a slight incline, and promptly ran out of straight asphalt. Lots of revs left on the tach, but I don't think the motor could use them all in 5th. I wonder if top speed is in 4th on a stock set up...?
