Never any faster than the legal speed limit

OK, now that all the anti street race never do anything wrong do gooders have read that and moved on... The fastest I have had it so far was 135. I am quite sure it would go faster, but I kinda ran out of road.

I hate to admit it but on I-5 I hit the rev-limiter in 4th the Speedo said about 143.0:-) in my defense it was a very clear day with no one if front of me and no on or off ramps for about 10 miles. Scary thing was the car did waver or even feel like I was going faster than 80 mph. Also would like to say that the hood never moved a bit and the motor felt like it still had some left when I bounced off the rev-limiter.

145+ Don't know exactly as I was past the speedo and didn't have my tuner plugged in to datalog. If I had to venture a wild guess, I'd say about 153, still had a little more left in the tank too.

I've been wanting to do a run with my tuner plugged in so I could datalog my actual speed that far up, but the place that I would do that at is now starting to be developed, so my trusty "spot" is now gone :bang:

I wonder what it would have done in 5th gear?

125 on the bridge over manatee river (I-75), no traffic and a bridge is very safe, no one entering the road. Came off the on-ramp and let it rip. Just installed the front chin spoiler and wanted to make sure it would hold. Amazed how fast 125 came and it was still pulling hard.

I270 N in Maryland after the Father Hurley exit, heading home after work, hit 120 and ran out of clear road. Had the wife in it one day and told her we're doing 90 ("Slow down!!!") but we were really doing about 110. Surprisingly stable.
