Both products are vaporware currently. There hasn't been an update on either end.

This is actually interesting from the perspective of a business’s ability to respond to a market. The S197 has been around for 4 model years now. Of course, over time there should be many more products for it, like the Fox and SN95. Just look at the stuff you can get for the classics everything from wheels to an entire body.

It's probably a combination in the changes of technology, and probably the supposedly weak transmission. I know TCI has built a supposedly "tougher" transmission, but I don't really know more than that. There's a lot of torque going through our transmissions, as opposed to other cars that already have tiptronic setups.

This B&M 81004 is, IMHO, butt ugly. 2+ years work and that's the best looking thing to come out of it?

It will actually be slightly different than that. Different **** and a few other asthetic changes..But, sorry it didn't please you.

Pictures would be nice.

I actually liked the original design, it had a clean look to it. The only change I'd make would be to add some of those brush like things on either side of the shifter slot to help keep out dust and to make it so you couldn't just look down at the guts of the unit.

Due to a merger that put a hold on all new product developments, it actually hasn't been 2 years of work.

my clutch and flywheels just arrived No more auto for me. I would have liked to try out the auto shifter :-(
