I'm not sure if you were talking to me, but I live near Detroit.

And yes, 06GT4RAD, they do sound a bit different, but I thing my car sounds pretty **** good now. When I get my longtubes installed in a week or so, it's going to sound even sweeter!

I also think Justins idle was set lower than mine.

I talked to Ford Racing yesterday about these and they told me these cams won't be available for another 4-6 weeks? How did you get them? Also how does this effect your gas mileage, and are these emissions legal?

Huh...I had the Comp NRS cams installed at Brenspeed back in Feb. I have said it before and will say it again. I don't believe you can have that much valve overlap and still make good power. It is either power or sound. That is the choices. Mine have a lopey idle compared to the stock cams but nothing like the Ford cams. But than I have absolutely no idle issues at all. So I give kudos to Brent for his tune and Comp cams for their cams. I pickup up 25 HP minimum with the Comps. I still have not seen any dyno pulls before and after with the Ford cams. I want that sound for sure but not the issues that is going along with them.

Pypes Mid-Muffler and Pypes O/R-H. Installing OBX Long Tubes in a little over a week.

I bought them from www.suttonhp.com who (from what I heard) got the very first shipment from Ford Racing. I was one of the first seven orders that were shipped (they only got 7 cams in). No idea on gas mileage really since I just got them yesterday. Ask me in a week or two. Emissions? What are emissions? I'm in Detroit, we don't worry about things like that

Scott, I will be running her on a dyno soon. While I don't have a before dyno run, we all know roughly what these cars put down with an intake, tune and O/R mid-pipe. I also have absolutely no idle issues at all now. This is a new cam to the market and it took a bit of tweaking. I'm good now!

Got Cams

I purchased The Hot rod Cams from a ford parts dept. He is on another forum, and I am waiting for my tune from Doug with these cams. I do remember the issues all the tuners were having with the install of new equipment and the first attempt at tunning, ie Breenspeed, JPC racing, Bamachips. These performance parts did not just drop in and run, my hats off to these folks who spend money and time getting it "right " so we can plug and play with our mustangs. These new FRRP hot Rod cams are no different than the first cold air kits to come out. Tunning and testing followed by a lot of big smiles.

Yes, these are the FRPP Hot Rod Cams.

My full exhaust - Pypes Mid-Muffler, Pypes O/R-H and stock exhaust manifolds. I'll be installing OBX Long Tubes in a little over a week.

Ok this sounds unbelievably awesome now is it possible to do these cams with a blower? I'd prefer centrifigal and wanted to go paxton has anyone tried this or is it even doable?? I would be in heaven if I could find this and make it work.....

From everything everyone is saying so far, this doesn't look like the best cam for a blower. But hey, maybe they are wrong. Someone should prove it
