I just recently dyno'd a Ford GT. If the Shelby is anywhere near as underated as the GT it should make 475 to the wheels no problem, maybe more. There is a strong possibilty that whatever they rate the HP out will actually be what it makes at the wheels

$6000 for the full HO (10-12 psi) kit in Black. $500 added if you want the polished version. Subtract $1000 if you only want the "tuner" kit that doesn't include the handheld programmer, spark plugs, injectors and fuel pump upgrades.

If you notice on the Ford Racing site,
Under Special Editions its got all the parts and X's underneath the car to see if its in that car.
The FR500 (from Sema) is on there, and has the FR4 SuperPack
It shows its rated 500hp [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]

So what were the actual dyno numbers on the Ford GT? I know it's off topic, but just curious.

You're thinking the FR500C that runs the races.
It's a 5.0L Cammer
The FR500 SEMA car had the 4.6L 3v with Whipple super charger

I don't think Ford will never warranty a supercharger for the Mustang GT going over 6 psi, maybe a 3.8 pulley. The GT500 will be at 8.5 psi in order to power and move the larger stronger engine, which is still a very safe number for that larger engine, if it's 475-480 flywheel roots based, it will be at around 420 rear wheel for that engine is my guess. Considering the GT500 is a 3920 lb car, and a supercharged Mustang GT is about 3560 with goodies, at 480hp flywheel, 360 lbs adds up to a 3 10ths of a second penalty 0-60, but the stronger initial pull of the GT500 will probably even that out. I'm guessing GT500 0-60 time is 4.4 seconds @3920 lbs of car. Bets anyone, Erik

No way in heck would they warranty a blower...they know what kind of crap rods they put in the engine. Besides, it's so easy for someone to put a smaller pulley on, blow the thing up, and say, "the stock pulley made me throw a rod".
No one should put a blower on unless he/she is planning on building up the block. Knowing what we know, I'd stick to naturally aspirated performance.

Yummy! If the GT500 has as much as 525hp, at 3920 lbs , that would put it's 0-60 @ about 4.1 or 4.2, that could edgeout the C6 if it is somewhat above 500hp. I don't even want to think about what the after market fettish guys (which I'm tragically becoming one of) will do with the SC, pulleys and engine dynamics. Now I have to re-think my re-tune numbers. I think I'm going to go to 9lbs psi on my Saleen SC, with a 3.4 pulley, #39 injectors, and the larger mass air induction. That will put me @ about 440 rwhp or 490 flywheel hp. At 3565 lbs, that could lead to a 4.1 0-60, Erik

Also,to help make things clear,a 425hp srt-8 charger does alow 5's 0-60 and a 165mph top speed and it weighs 4160lbs.So,500hp in a 3920lb car could do 175+mph and low 4's 0-60
