Well I finally got all of Earl's SS brake lines on the car and the brakes lines flushed and bled out. I pumped almost 2 quarts of Valvoline Synthetic Dot 4 brake fluid through the system until everthing was running clear. I am not sure what color the stock brake fluid is but I was surprised how dark looking it was. Kind of a dark honey color. The new fluid was as clear as water. Those speed bleeders are the nuts now. Made up four water bottles with fish tank air line run through the caps and pumped away. Never bled brakes so easy. Still had the wife come out at the end to pump them while I closed the bleeders in the proper order. Thanks to Scramblr, Import-Slaya and others for the tips. For the record all four of my Earl's lines were assembled backwards. No big deal but definitely a quality control issue at that assembly plant. Got a 2 foot snow drift behind the garage door so my drive with my new Spydieshaft and Earl's brake lines will just have to wait for better weather.

If you think the fluid was dirty after normal use, you should see it after a track day! (barf)

Outstanding Scott, glad it worked out for you. You could always just go back and forth in your garage for a bit...at least you can say you drove it and tested the brakes.

Thanks Alex for you help and /or prodding. I'm thinking since I am going to order those OBX longtubes next week and since I will be on vacation the week of XMAS. I might just keep the car up in the air and start pulling stuff off for the header install. The way the weather is... it's not like I am going for a drive anytime soon.
