The FRPP X-pipe would be quieter than the Bassani hi-flo catted X-pipe. If you do a search Im sure you can find a video with the stingers and FRPP X-pipe.

Here is a set of American Racing Headers 1.75 with a catted H and SLP LM
A burnout from about 1000ft

an a dyno run

I will do the normal from the rear shots next week. No time right now.

What do you think about the FRPP stingers with the FRPP x pipe? I have stock exhaust not on my 06 gt but I want something a little louder but not to loud with no drone and that has the throaty growl.

In dire need to hear an exhaust setup that includes FRPP Stingers and off road x pipe. Anyone with this or had this setup can you post a link. I have my x pipe sitting in storage but I don't want to install it and waste time and money to find out I don't like it. I'm also considering on purchasing a pair of these to weld on to my x pipe. I heard a clip with a catted x and it sounded great. No rasp and no trumpets. Thanks in advance.

Here's a few short clips of my Pypes Mid-muffler system. I don't have the time to sit & edit video, so bear with me.

LOve the sound. ARe you running an off road H-pipe, or is that part of the exhaust still stock? What are your impressions thus far?

So I think I finally got my exhaust situation down.
On the old 05, I had the bassani X pipe with cats and flows.... wasn't crazy about the WOT sound.....
On the current ride, I tried a MAC offroad prochamber with the Corsas and it was insanely loud and obnoxious - just not right for my daily driver. Tried Hooker Aerochambers instead of Corsas and it was better but just not right.....
So I sold the prochamber and was pretty sure I needed to stick with an H and go with high flow cats. So months later, I finally got around to getting the MRT high flow catted H pipe.
I got it directly from MRT and my experience with their customer service was.... less than fulfilling........
As for the pipe itself, I am pretty darn happy. Install was straightforward and simple - and with the cats further downstream on the pipe, getting to those header bolts is a breeze.
Running the Corsas and I am pleased with the results. At cold start up, ignition is normal Corsa sound, then for about 8 seconds she gets really loud - then it comes right down to a nice low rumble - definitely a bit louder than with the stock H pipe. If you roll on the throttle gently, she is louder but not obnoxious at all. But when you lean on the throttle, she definitely makes a nice shout in all areas of driving - and at WOT.... she screams, but in a great way.
Here are some pics and some vid clips where the sound is pretty darn good.
[Also big thanks to mlgstang for the input and sound files when I was researching the mid pipe. Thanks bro!]

I'm happy with it overall, I had to tweak on the alignment of the tips a few times. The R/H side hanger rods should be about 1/2" more forward,I had to heat & bend the 2 rods on the muffler-delete tailpipe. The clearance is tight next to the tanks also, but doable.
Slight amount of drone @ 2100, but minor. I can live with it & I hate drone. It's not exactly like the sound of the cammer 5.0's but it is pretty close. Varooomy...LOL

I'm a bit mad at SLP at the moment. My right side hanger on my Powerflow's broke off the tip. Also from day one I had this exhaust, it has had a nasty buzz around 3k or so, haven't been able to figure it out.
Time to swap these pieces of junk for some GTA's.

Does anyone have this setup on their Mustang? If so, can I get some reviews of it? Are they as loud as the SLP Loudmouths?

This looks like a very good system for the money.

I'm picking up a set of GTA's from a Ford dealer here that sells lots of Ford Racing stuff. I called this morning, they don't have any in stock, but can get me a set in their delivery tomorrow morning, so I'll have them tomorrow and do the install at a buddy's house using his ramps.

What axleback is just as loud as the SLP Loudmouth, but it has a muffler and sounds good?
So far I am liking the Borla Stingers. Someone mentioned Bassani's, but I don't know which ones to get. Are the Corsa's any good?

I now have the GTA's on my car and they sound awesome, exactly what I was hoping for. They are a bit quieter than the SLP Powerflow's I had, but that's fine with me.
