hmmmmm . . . .so the extra holes make it adjustable, eh? The farther inboard the end link is attached, the stiffer it acts, right?
Seems like it would be pretty easy to drill another hole or two in my GT500 front sway bar . . . any reason that would not work or would be a bad idea?

Yup, that's the idea. I wonder if the OE bar has the required amount of material strength to support drilling extra holes. Or if the process of creating the extra holes weakens the bar? I'm not sure.
Good news is the front sway was only $189, so not a terribly expensive mod.

Nice, I'm sure it will help flatten the car in corners. Tell me, did it come with new stronger mounts and poly bushings? Those two additional items make a difference, too.

I know, right? It's 45 deg here and raining too! But that's ok. This will wash the salt off.
Realistically I'm looking at having my new suspension installed mid-April. Next few weeks are busy and both my wife and I have some work trips coming up.
If I get it all installed by mid-April I'll have ~5 weeks before my first track day to shake it all down. I decided not to do May 7th at Waterford like I initially planned, and wait till the end of May to go to Grattan. Since that track is similar to Mid-Ohio, I think if I find the right settings there I will be ready for Mid-Ohio too. And I think those settings will also work at Gingerman later this season.

So I took my car to the dealer for a low amplitude rubbing noise at 35+ mph. You can only hear it if you turn your head to the right. It's been coming from the right rear wheel area. I was thinking it could be a sticky caliper which gently drags my street aggressive XP8s and so I hear this barely audible constant shssssssssss noise which disappears over 60mph due to road noise.
The dealer ended up taking apart the rear axle (taking of calipers, diff cover, axles etc), and replaced both rear wheel bearings. I didn't hear the noise immediately after work, but now a few days later I can hear it again. So if it's not the wheel bearings, I'm back to caliper (or pad) or axle bearing?? Though I'd think they'd find that while tearing apart the rear end. My base warranty is good till the end of summer so I'll play it by ear.
What do you guys think? Anyone experienced anything similar? Any of you who track your cars a few times per year ever had wheel bearing or axle issues?

If they had your car in the air on a lift they would've been able to spin the wheel to hear if the brake was dragging.
Have you recently changed out to stainless steel brake lines. Sometimes those will touch the tire and make a rubbing noise.

Good point. I have to get under the car to see. They did spin it up on the lift before tearing it all up, but I have to get under it and check myself. I think I'll jack up the back end and spin it up to see what i can hear and see.

I had 25min while the little one was asleep, so I got the back end up on the ramps. I got under the car and looked around. My SS lines are still positioned same way they were installed, and not anywhere close to the wheels. So that's not it. The search continues.
I'll have to get it lifted and spin it up, but not today.

I understand. It's a process.
My stifflers drive shaft safety loop was causing a weird vibration that went undiagnosed for 4 months. I just garaged it most of the time until I had the money and time.
Good luck, you'll find it.

Just an FYI. To get the springs, shocks, CC plates, PH bar, SS clutch line and alignment done I was quoted $700. With a 3 ***** Racing discount ($100 off). It's 8.5h of labor. What are your thoughts?

My issue is time. I have a 9 month old at home, and I don't think my wife would be happy with me spending whole Saturday in the garage. She is cool with me being gone for a few track days per year, so I don't want to push it. I could do the PH bar by myself once the rest of the mods are on, but the point may be mute.

Wifey is never happy about me working on the car but she also understands that doing the work myself saves a little money
