Not yet but they are on the list. I have two breaks in track days that span multiple weeks where I'm hoping to get a few more mods done. Hopefully I don't break one before then.

Unless you run R comps I don't think you will have any issues.

I bought those off a guy with those tires he had only used for a 20 minute track session. When I put them on they make me want a set for the street too.

Hope the Contis work well for you. I was not a fan last year... Enjoy the track time!

Thanks. I ran them at the end of the year and they were obviously a huge improvement over running the stock Pirelli PZero's. This year I might switch over Pirelli take offs. Guys around here usually find them for about $100 each so the price is right. I may even get a second (I mean third) set of wheels so I have two sets of track tires. I'm doing several weekend events and I'd hate to lose out on track time due to a corded tire.

Thank you. Install wasn't too awful bad considering I've had the bumper off 6 to 8 times. Took forever to get, I had to wait six weeks

Where do those turnbuckles mount to? Do you know how long they are? I was considering the Stillen splitter but was hoping to find some longer turnbuckles to go through and actually to the bumper like the Ford one.

Are you going to put wheel spats on the front as well?

No spats or canards.
The stainless steel adjustable turnbuckles were supplied by APR. they are attached through the top of the ABS plastic lower diffuser. I reinforced the backside with aluminum plates. It will be plenty strong considering the maximum downforce will be 100 pounds.

Yup smart move for multiple track wheel sets. I've got 8 GT500 18's that all get the same tires typically so I can swap quick as needed. And then the enkeis are a last resort backup for the moment until I swap them to street tires. 1st world problems.

I've heard the Pirelli take offs are a bit better

Do you have any pictures of where you put the plates (just inside the bumper cover?)?

What size tires are you running? Those Conti's are 305's using a 1/8" MM wheel spacer up front. Close fit though. There's a bolt that sticks out towards the tires that I've been told to cut off flush and then you can go as much as 315's I believe. Not sure I want to cut that bolt so I'll just use the spacers for a while longer. I heard the same on the Pirelli's. Might go to PF01's if the guy who was supposed to sell me the Watson roll bar decides to still sell the wheels. They are a bit lighter than the SVE's.

I run 275 square. It's been plenty of tire for me. I should try 305's at some point but need wider wheels... And lose the ability to rotate all 4.

PF01's are nice and light, I'm just weary of the cracking issues

Ditto! Although I have heard that sometimes the quality is different for each set of tire.

I thought about taking photos as I put it together but just want to get the job completed so I don't have any photos. I just used a flat piece of aluminum that was 1/8" thick and ran it as a strong back through the backside of the lower facia. Any longer than that and the supplied Bolt would not be long enough
