The ravages of time will spare no car. You WILL get dinged. You WILL get bumped and scraped. Of course you can attempt to delay this but it will happen.
I agree.

While most of our cars will end up in the junkyard one day, some will be spared and lovingly restored by MUSTANG enthusiasts just as earlier models have been.

It's a shame that people cannot be more respectful of personal property. Carelessness accounts for a bulk of the dings on our cars. It's an unfortunate fact of life. :bang:

I feel your pain lucky lou. Someone scratched the right front wheel well of my '05 a couple of weeks ago at work. Man was I angry. About a half inch of paint is missing.
ma'an.. see that would drive me up a wall... i'm always cautious about making sure i don't open my door too hard if I park close to someone ( which i never do) but in case someone parks too close to me. u know.. it almost makes you wanna install a camera in the car or something to catch the people who do this stuff. I feel your pain bro. I am just like you. I respect other peoples property like it were my own. I once parked in a mall parking lot with my 99 GT, and some one sideswiped it when they left or came in to the spot next to me. I shouted so many obscenities in that parking lot that day...I feel bad because it was a Sunday. I was thinking the same thing about the camera also. I would take a few of the people's advices in here and get the door ding doctors to fix it.

The reason you don't see Ferraris Enzos parked in shopping mall parking lots is because the owners have other cars for that purpose - like a Hummer H1. Try dinging that
Me thinks that an Abrams A1 would do the trick. B) [/b][/quote]
Unfortunately you can ding the paint on an M1 tank as well but it is easy to accidentally backup over top of something. I have done both but luckily it was a tree and not someones car.

I don't get why you felt bad just because of the day of the week...? ANY day is a good day to yell when your hard-earned money (form of a Mustang) gets devalued by someone in an instant. Grrr to those goofy drivers out there

Honestly, I dont think most people ding other peoples cars because they are being malicious or hateful. They do it because they are stupid. Why do accidents like this happen? Because people arent paying attention to what the heck they are doing.

On a positve note...

I'm noticing other Mustangs grazing nearby...

Kinda cool to see other Mustang Owners w/ similar paking habbits.
Didn't expect Mustang owners to intentially(sp?) park near other Mustangs...
Jeeps do it sometimes -usually in snow or @ shows, see pic below B) ... Saturn owners used to go out of their way to park next to another Saturn... Had a lady in a VUE almost run into me when I went to park my Jeep next to our Saturn @ the Movie parking lot -last time I try to save time by having my wife meet me somewhere...

If anything...park near other new cars. Those people should have the same result for a new car as you.
