I looked around but did not see anything that mentions care for the new aluminum dash in the 05. I know this might be early, but does anyone have ideas on how to keep it looking good?

if it is true brushed alum, try this. http://www.mothers.com/products/productcat.../wheelprod.html

Go and look down at the Billet Metal Polish. I picked some up and looks like a great product. Have not had a chance to check it out yet.

I know this is off topic, but Scothew, is there anyway to get your video of your cobra running back again? Your site isn't loading. Thanks

Oh and the Billet Metal Polish is GREAT IMHO

WHATEVER YOU DO, don't stub out your cigs on the dash. That helps it look better a lot longer. . .

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I knew a guy once who actually DID this (not to a Mustang; I would have had to physically restrain him then!)

You could always just use a paper towel

Thats all I have done thus far. Any other ideas, anyone. I am almost scared to put any sort of chemical substance on it.

What is the point?

Use a frieking paper towel that is slightly damp. If you really want to get fancy you can even use a microfiber.

If its anything like the brushed aluminum on my Mustang II's dash, then I would only use windex and paper towel.
