Don't worry man, we'll be going back in a couple weeks! Kai missed it too, so don't feel bad. You can meet Jed's girl, Chrissy! I'm sure she'll be there.

Will be in Mexico this coming weekend, so you and Jed will have to be on your own.. try and survive without the Taco.

For added temptation...

Brain, Bill here some pics of the mirrors in your respective colors.
Dude.. $250??!! I thought they were like $150.

I do like them painted TR like the pic you posted. This mod will be near the top of the 'exterior' list after my wheels & tires.

That is the key...It is a choice.
The 5W20 is warranty coverage for sure.
The 5W30 is extra engine protection for HD usage, but will not get the gas mileage and might cut a couple of HP.
5W30 will not hurt the engine.

From yesterday's C&C..

There was a guy there with the Shelby CS67 in 20". The spec on these are the same as the CS69 wheels I want (in terms of width and offset).

He's running staggered, 20x9 and 20x10, 255's and 285's, respectively.

Also, he has the Steeda Ultralite springs (with stock dampeners).

Picture this stance, except ~1/2" lower in the front and rear from my upcoming Eibach Pro's.
'Finger Gauge' on this car is 2 at the front, 3 at the rear.

Thoughts?

Wheel to caliper clearance.. looks tight, but these wheels are supposed to clear the GT500 brakes

Idk, those look good, not sure about on a TR though...guess we'll see wont we? it kinda looks like the top edge of that caliper was sanded down a little, it may just be the texture.

You missed the second sentence down... I want the 69's, not the 67's shown, just showing the 20's with a Steeda drop.

Man that's brutal, there it is staring me in the face... buy me, buy me the voice says, you get paid thursday your bills are caught up... buy me buy me. Must.resist.temptation.

Bill, Jed, looks like that was a lot of fun. Just not too sure about the warm beer though. C&C looked great too. The CS wheels are to die for. hafta admit that the 20s make the stock sized rotors, especially the rear, look tiny honda-like rotors. Nothing is funnier than some hoopty on huge freakin rims and a teeny-tiny rotor to try and stop all that mass **** kids

Beer was cold (and tasty too!).

I agree. It's just another 'thinking ahead' for the Big Brakes maybe and the end of the year or next.

Before I forget...
Giving the POTR crew a heads up and first dibs on some items I will be selling.
I will be posting the following for sale Thursday or Friday (whenever I get to taking pics) They are off the car and ready to go now.

Steeda Underdrive pullies
Hurst Competition Plus short shifter (new shift ball)

and in a little bit, not exactly sure when (I'm not telling anyone 'til everything is done)
4 18" bullitts, no tires and no TPMS (I wouldn't sell these tires they are too far gone for some strange reason) They do have a little curb rash.
C&L Street Intake, w/o Xcal2

If you want them or want me to hold off on posting them in the For Sale section, pm me and well deal. All the regular POTR posters will get them cheaper than joe-schmo.

When are you coming back Bill?
Looks like I will be out there sometime between the 6th and the 12th of April. I am not sure yet as they haven't nailed it down.
I would love to get together with any of the PTOR gang when I get there. I'll try to let you all know more later in the week if anyone is interested.

I could have them by the time or close to the time you're out here. I'll have a better gauge on the timing in the next couple of days. Trust me it's killing me. I do know that where I'm having them installed it's gotta take a day or to to get them in.

I think it's a good thing I decided against the knock-off Bullitts...

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=466166

Maybe it's an isolated case, but still it makes me feel better and really isn't that all that really matters anyway?
