Just please don't loose control and curb it.
Thanks for the vote of confidence.

I like the painted spoiler look. Although the matte black looks good on yours as well. Just personal preference.

I agree they both look good but like I said earlier I think the chin spoiler looks more OEM and less tacked on when painted. The reason I'm planning on this is because I've decided to not follow through on the Mach1 look. Reason being I'm not willing to follow through with the hood stripe, decklid panel, rear spoiler, and rear window louver. So from now on I'm just going with my own version of the stang borrowing ideas from past generations of stangs.

I'd choose the Charger.
Reasons why:

Shelbly GT- I already have a GT that looks better and outperforms that overpriced, overglorified stang.

Nismo 350Z-Don't like the body style and it's and import.

Don't worry Leo, no matter what you do (or run into), I'll keep the camera rolling!

What styling que's are you going to borrow from the Mustang II?

I'll take the REGULAR (thanks Daryl) 350Z over any POC Dodge (with the exception of the Viper).

You think you're as good as one of the Blue Angel pilots?

We'll be a good 50' back during the donut shoot.

New cars destined to become collectibles....

The Mustang gets two mentions. The first being the GT500 and the second being the Shelby GT-H.
Here's the rest.
http://autos.aol.com/article/power/v...01110909990001

I think the PJ Saleen deserves a spot more than the GT500 considering how few PJ's will be made.

Back planning my next mod.. Shelby Hood Pins.
I'm sure you guys have all seen them in person. They're on the GT-H and Shelby GT's. Attachment 25389

I know that the Phillips screws are prone to rusting, but mine won't see any water so it should be fine.

Hood dimpling is a concern, but I think it's more so with other kits. The Shelby one's that I've seen have no dimpling.

Placement span of the pins should also clear my 12" stripes (I'll have to double check).

Here's pics of the Shelby pins...

And the modified radiator cover that they sell...

I'd say get the CDC stick on ones first to see if your going to like the look and if you do then go ahead and get the real deal. JMO.

I looked for some reference pics of my hood and compared it to the Shelby kit. It looks real close to coming in contact with the stripes. I know the FRPP pins can be located further out. I need to take some physical measurements of the Shelby and PJ to see where they're exactly located.

The CDC stickies are okay, but for the cost, I feel like I should just get the real deal. I think I'd be more embarrassed more than anything..

I can hear the comments already from people walking up at the carshow.. "You drilled a big hole in the center of the hood, but too chicken to drill 2 tiny ones?"

I wanted those hood pins, too, when I saw the Hertz car in person. You aren't going to buy a replacement radiator cover are you? I would modify the one I have.

I talked to Marcello about doing that and I think it would look great, too. But figure out the cost of the fuel door... and then the cost to have it painted. Way too much, even for me - and I can justify anything!

Well then if you insist I'd recommend spacing them out 2-3" more than the one's here.

Yup I remember that part of our chat too. I think we both agreed it was to much $$$$ for not enough bling.

That was not a choice. Are you bailing Bill? He said one of ONLY these three:

Shelby GT
NISMO 350Z
Charger SRT-8

And what is POC ??? Piece of Crap ???

Any thoughts on the twist type hood locks from Fang Performance?

Not feeling the Fang hood pins. If your going to do hood pins it's gotta be ones with the wires.
