I would die for a grabber blue stang. My all-time favorite car color.....Typically I'm not a real fan of GAS but this one is completely different. That and the PJ the best *tribute* cars I have seen for the S197, hands down.

Jed - Cool vid. What I like about the transformation is that they kept everything functional (i.e a/c, power steering, cruise control, etc)

Mods: Ordering the rotorpros tomorrow. Talked to rich. I'm getting them for 215 shipped G2 caliper paint kit on order. Going with the silver so it's barely noticable. Now.... this is where I'm stuck. I need opinions before I pull the trigger: Should I stick with the stock spoiler or go with the gt500 spoiler? I'm leaning towards the gt500 spoiler. In some pictures it looks great, in others... too big Any advice before I pull the trigger? With that and cutting my stock antenna down, I'll be pretty much done with my exterior mods. Only thing left will be the shr lower honeycomb grill. Next month: interior Wow, that was long.

Leo - That was a cool mod. Was interested until I found out somewhere in these forums that shr does indeed plan a smiliar mod (without out the pony of course). I'm going to wait for that. Fool proof mod

Difference is range and the fact that the 8500 X50 is powered on constantly. From the reviews I read they said the Solo S2 was great but that if you didn't have to settle for a cordless you shouldn't. While the Solo S2 was well rated all the reviewers gave the 8500 X50 the top rating. It even beat out the V1 in some categories. I figure if for an extra $100 I can get a little more security why not.

With that said the deal I had fell through so It may be a little longer before the Solo S2 is up for Sale. If and when I do sell it I'll make sure anyone in POTR get's the "good guy" price.

EDIT:When I get the 8500 X50 we can run some test's by having them both hooked in one car during a cruise or something. See if one rings before the other or not.
