It almost looks as if someone tried to use a slim jim to break into my car. What are your thoughts fellas.

That's messed up! I will never understand why people have the need to mess with other people's rides. Yes, it looks like they tried to jimmy the door open. Anything of value that was visible from the outside? (besides the Alpine DVD deck)

 

He cost extra.

Believe me, he keeps costing me $$$ everyday! (But, he's worth every penny!)

 

Man I'd be livid too. A tear like that doesn't "just happen" IMO. Good thing they didn't bust the window or tear up the paint.

I just looked & see I picked mine up on 3/20, so nearly 11 mos. on mine, too. It came in a couple weeks before that, but we were in Death Valley so it had to wait 'till we got back.

No nothing is ever left inthe car for people to see and try to take it. To see the Alpine you would have to have your face plastered to the window to see through the tint, and there are no prints on the window. The car is very rarely where I can't see it. I'm a fraid some stupid *** did it at night while I was sleeping. Obviously didn't mess with it enough to trip the alarm. I don't know why they would try that either as I live on the corner and have a Street Light shining right on the car.

Well, good news is that the door paint and glass made it through without any scratches.

Maybe get a hold of KC at Clevparts@aol.com and see what the replacement cost is for that channel. Heard he gives pretty good prices to TMS Members, he's the guy who Leo buys all his parts from.

 

Yup. Call KC You'll get an even better deal then I get since you won't have to pay the CA tax.
