Ha Ha She hasn't made any contact for over 3yrs, not even to call her son. Don't even know if she is still alive.

Sweet !! Can't wait to see it. Let me know how you utilize the shaker unit to assist your alignment for the hole.
Don't forget pics of the underside ball socket when you get time.

Sorry, don't know your Ex, but it sounds like someone here wants to meet her.

Good luck on the bumper this time around. If you trash this set, you will be giving me little hope of success. PLEASE, get it layed down!

There you go putting evil thoughts in my head again...

Well, I wanted to see if I could access the nozzles by removing half the retainers holding up the insulation, but didn't want to take a chance creasing it. So to make it easy, I just dropped the whole thing. I may leave it off for now until I figure out what kind of scoop I want.

That's sad (for your boy).

Daryl... hope you remember this:

The hose going to the brake booster... did you put it inside or outside of the engine cover?

I don't remember, , but intial recollection is no. I will go out and look at break time (25 minutes) and get your answer. Hope you can wait that long.

I can wait... I'm just laying tape and finding CL of the hood.

There's 2 hoses back there with that black convoluted tubing over them. I think the cover goes "between" them. So, one ends up outside, and the brake booster hose ends up inside the engine cover.

No my hose does not go inside the shaker. I would have to bend it at an odd angle to fit it under the cowling.

Yes sir. Here is a picture of another guys here on the forum, and mine looks just like this.
You can see the tubing in question just to the right of the COLD AIR lettering.

That's the angle I was looking for.

Why does the cowling protrude right there by the coupling tube? It doesn't look like there is anything there to go over.

My only guess would be for symmetry, the other side needs it for the electrical lines.

Tom- I hope your snapping a few pics of these 'questionable' areas. The less confusion for me (or whomever) the better.
