Ponies on The Run!
Yup, post #9290
Thanks. You were the Pioneer with the Shaker trim. I just copied you.
Royce was cool. Just like the rest of the Gracie family, down to Earth, easy to approach and talk to.

Now that I've decided to get them painted I can't decide between the few options I narrowed it down to. Which do you think would look best?
1)Silver Metallic
2)Tungsten Silver
3)Gloss black
4)Chrome
I was also thinking about adding a sticker like the one in the pic. Yay or Nay?

I vote for Chrome (if powdercoating). If painting, Satin Silver.
Leo, I think these would look good except have the logo and lettering in Tungsten or silver.

For me, I'm not much of a chrome guy unless it's a chromed-out Hot Rod. I do like the crinkle finish black though, but it would be hard to see in your engine bay. I'm picky I guess.
I like those too but don't feel like forking over the $$$ for "hireman" to airbrush them.
well if he's just painting them, then it's not hard to do what He is doing but with solid colors instead of fancy air-brush work, right ? Don't do a sticker use paint, engine paint that is.
Hey, Chris picked TR, may as well pick the camcovers too!
As you know, Black Krinkle was my first choice, but I left the final call up to Chris. He said it would look nice, but it be too much black going on and by having Chrome, it would look like I actually did something rather having it 'blend in'.

Yes it will!
But, are you really sold on the FRPP/Whipple? One guy has one and only dyno'd in at 350ish RWHP. Granted it was with Whipple's conservative tune, but I'm creeping up on that number with my NA motor.
Thank you Sir!
