If anyone has been struggling to find an xbox one, its now available on bestbuy.com (PS4 is still sold out). Just got one for myself and it should show up sometime next week.

Now gotta think about which games I want. Probably Forza and maybe Madden 25.

 

Deadrising 3 is a blast and ryse isn't bad either, though slightly repetitive. Nba 2k14 is much improved as well. Call of duty is awful so don't make that mistake. As I'm sure you've read, forza is a bit lacking at moment, but I'm sure in a few months we'll get the rest of the game

 

PS4s are randomly coming in stock at GameStop; helped the boss track one down today for his kids Christmas. Just call and find out when UPS typically drops buy and call around that time. Also, today is the last day for layaways at Walmart so at least a few will be freeing up. Walmart is reportedly relieving a large shipment on Sunday.

Ended up buying forza. But the xbox one won't be here until Friday. So I can stare at the game until then.

 

Regular or limited edition?

 

Xbox ones are in stock at my Sam's club...just a heads up, in case anyone wants to buy one.

 

I think the "limited" edition is the only option at this point.

 

Bought forza at sams club cause it's cheaper. I think it was the regular edition. Don't remember seeing a limited on it.

Yep, that's the regular. The limited has the Audi on the front and comes in the metal case. You get a few more things with it too, like more credits for every level you advance, more cars, and the VIP membership that they gift you a good number of cars.

 

From what I understand, they're all rather "limited."

 

Ehh. Doesn't matter too much to me. Maybe with all this backlash they'll open up some more.

Sign I with your Xbox live and claim your rewards. You get ingame credits for each previous forza game you've played.

 

Anyone have the new plug and charge kits? Are they better than the 360 ones?

 

Yeah it's just a micro USB cable and battery. Battery seems to last much longer so far.

 

Go with the Energizer kit. For $30, you get two batteries and a charging base, not just a micro USB cable.

 

I bought the extra controller + charge kit was wasn't too bad of a deal.

 

So I hop on my xbox one to let it update forza, update ****s up as usual, I cancel it so I can restart and it deletes the whole installation. So now I have to reinstall the game and do a 6gb update plus the new update.
